Previously, I used Waves Center to install plugins and an old patch to register them. However, this time after I upgraded IDX to version 15, the plugins couldn't be opened. May I ask if there is a solution?

I have a problem: the instruments don’t load the samples.
For example:
From Waves Central, I installed only Electric 88 to check if it works, but when I open the app, it doesn’t load the samples. I specifically select the folder where the samples should be, but it doesn’t find them. I’ve tried several solutions with the help of ChatGPT, but nothing seems to work.

You've got to download the samples separately from the Waves site.

The installation process is different than described in the instructions. The instructions should be updated. After rebooting I got automatic start of SoundGrid Studio and endless Scanning Network. What should I do now?

Hi, after cleaning all the waves paths and the system registry I installed this version... every time I open ir1 plugin or gemstones plugin an alert message appears indicating the loss of ir impulses, do you have a solution? Thank you!!

sync vx couldn't work....
my daw is studio one, after install this version, i even couldn't enter the project or start an new project, so i have to disable the ara plugin support,saddddd!!!!

shit always happen... sync vx works incorrectly, i can't make sync function work. its always in "click to sync" mode. i can't let it get into "in sync" mode. really upset....
plz fix it. or does anyone have the same problem with me...

finally!!!! fixed!!!!! you need to totally delete all old waves stuff, here is the location (shout out to R2R!!!!!!):

Clean Paths:
Your VST2, VST3, AAX plugins dir
C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\
%PROGRAMFILES%\Waves Central\
%PROGRAMDATA%\Waves Audio\
%APPDATA%\COSMOS\
%APPDATA%\Waves Audio\
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Waves Audio\
%PUBLIC%\Waves Audio\

=> If you think you are not experienced, search "WaveShell*" in your C drive, then delete all.
=> We always see people having problem with old shells which should be uninstalled before.

Clean Registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Waves\

actually the waves central's all clean up couldn't delete all stuff, you still need to delete by yourself

godness i've spent at least 10 hours to solve this problem!!!

waves central stops in the middle of installation process, saying it can't finish it.
Do I have to create an account on the waves central ? Is it because of that that it doesn't work ?

By going one by one I manage to install some of them (some don't complete the installation process), but then, when I run the patch and try to find them in ableton, they don't appear...
