I load the SYNC VX ARA version of the plugin and i still get a notice saying syncvx is an ARA plugin, please remove this instance and load the ARA version of this plugin

Sync VX not working in Logic, but that seems to be a Logic problem. ARA not working and also Sync VX not popping up in Rosetta mode. But I don't even want to use Rosetta mode

It honestly depends on which daw. Logic will run it in rosetta, but if it craps the bed, it brings down the other sandboxed apps etc.

tl/dr: ara or ara2 currently does not work natively on m chipped Macs in au despite what some say. It will be running under AUHostingCompatibilityService etc.... So you don't need to run it in Rosetta mode (if it corresponds or acts like Melodyne, of which I am not sure so...), but it will run that plugin in rosetta environment within regardless, as it doesn't have another way...

After re-installing I finally got Sync Vx (ARA) working for one section and after reloading Logic next day it is not showing anymore.
When working it appears as Sync Vx (ARA) Now Plugin-Manager only shows Sync Vr (m).
Got it going after reinstalling twice but gone next time I run Logic.
Logic Pro X 10.7.9 Mad Intel, Monterey 12.7.1

It looks like a Logic issue.... Investigating

People claim it works natively but you read on and see its not the case with m1 osx sequoia , pro tools and logic only load this trash in Rosetta mode, pro tools supposedly supports ara natively but why then do my own tests and others require Rosetta mode?

when i run waves AU reg utility, it ask 4 times to locate waves plugins folder then it failed to find plugins!

if this is a problem just install the erlier version v15 and install the new patcher that does everything for you. Just make sure after selecting your plugins and it's all installed close the restart alert and run the patcher and then do the step that your mentioning and it should work. Mac book pro m3 max and mac mini m2 sonoma so I know it should work for you.

I followed the instructions as always. And after the reboot I’m getting black GUIs on all plugins. Any idea what’s happening? I’m on a M1 Mac Studio. What’s the Mac OS requirement for this?

Hi everyone,
Not sure if this helps anyone.
Whilist running Logic 10.5 on my Intel Mac Pro, the ARA version of Sync VX was not showing up after installation, however I closed down Logic 10.5 and launched Logic 10.7 and ARA version showed up.
I then launched Logic 10.5 and for some reason the ARA version showed up and now works.
