BLEASS Arpeggiator v1.2.0-BUBBiX screenshot
BUBBiX | 5 December 2024 | 12 MB
BLEASS Arpeggiator takes the inspirationally melodic power of a classic synth arpeggiator and supercharges it with modern features demanded by today's musicians. Developed in collaboration with top French producer Canblaster, BLEASS Arpeggiator's capabilities extend far beyond the clichéd up-and-down monophonic patterns of an old-school synth arpeggiator, with polyrhythms, polyphony, and a large collection of highly configurable arpeggio patterns built in.

It does work with MIDI, yep. I have Reaper and it works right out of the box with MIDI like any other VST (I have to point out just how awesome Reaper is)... but I was watching a video from Bleass on it where a music artist did a tutorial on it and he stated in Ableton (and probably most DAWs) it is detected as an INSTRUMENT due to the audio it generates.. and you'd have to do something extra to make it get MIDI working.

That process is described here: https://youtu.be/B7xyzIoCZF4?si=iquj1SntTPkQDwI8&t=177

When you say that it works with midi, are you saying that it processes midi input or that it can output it?
Cubase sees this as a VSTi that responds to midi input and/or chord tracks. I only just opened it, but I will assume that you can route the midi output to any VSTi instrument for the sound of your choosing.

I have it routing MIDI to my MIDI hardware (to arpeggiate that) as well as VSTis. Works great.

But again, see the link I sent.. that was for Ableton, but presumably there's something similar you do in Cubase. Either way, it definitely outputs MIDI.

It has midi output, so in Live just select the input of your chosen vst as Bleass Arp & set monitoring to in.

i want to use my own vst synth sounds through the bleass midi in/out as an instrument! But i only get the onboard sounds & no synth sound from synth... i've routed my midi input synth to say 17 & bleass to midi out 17 in FL STUDIO but no sound.

A simple search found this link that says how to set up the routing in most daws..

Thanks, but I didn't see anything when I searched for 'alpha'. But I was able to create a new MIDI track and select its input as the midi output of the Bleass Arp though.

Cheers.

No worries, but Bleass Alpha is a completely different plugin (an instrument) and why you wouldn't have gotten the search results you needed. Either way, good to hear you are good now!

This is a pretty amazing Arp. If you like creating arps for your music, don't sleep on this. I really like Stepic, but this has some features to it that Stepic does not. It is definitely really well thought out, and I'd say both are pretty useful arp VSTs.
