That won't change unless they decide to recode the Plugin and drop the JUCE Framework (which is the Reason why its CPU Hungry because it is only meant to use one CPU Core).

But i don't think they will do that since this Plugin is only available if you own the Hardware.

JUCE has threading in it's API if you look at it.
But not all tasks benefit from multi threading.

It is very good imho. What you mean by you can't go in-depth with it?
This is probably one of the Synth Plugins where you can go real deep and basiclly create any Sound by Mixing the 3 Synth Engines.

By the Way there are many Videos explaning the whole Hardware and Synth Plugin by Yamaha on YouTube.

The only Problem is that it has a Bad CPU Performance if you do not have a new and good CPU since it only uses one Core like Serum.

I have a problem with the Yamaha ESP Montage VSTi. I can't save a library. Even when I select a library and choose "Save as Library," it saves the library but with the content from the user area. Does anyone else have the same problem? Can anyone help me?

Now I now the reason, I was wrong.

This is how it works :

I understand you're encountering an issue with the Yamaha ESP Montage VSTi where attempting to save a library results in the content from the user area being saved instead. This behavior is consistent with the design of the MONTAGE M system, where the "Save as Library" function captures the entire User area. To address this, you can follow these steps:

1. Curate the User Area: Ensure that the User area contains only the Performances, Arpeggios, Motion Sequences, Waveforms, and other data you wish to include in the new library. Remove any unwanted items from the User area before proceeding.


2. Save as Library File:

Navigate to [UTILITY] > "Contents" > "Save/Store" within the ESP Montage VSTi interface.

Set the CONTENTS TYPE to LIBRARY file.

Save the data to your desired location.



3. Install the Library File:

After saving, you can load the newly created .Y2L file into the ESP Montage VSTi as a Library file.

This process will install the curated data as a read-only library within the VSTi.




Important Considerations:

Library Data is Read-Only: Once installed, Library data cannot be edited directly. To make changes, import the data back into the User area, edit as needed, and then save it again as a new Library file.

Backup Your data: Always create backups of your User and Library data before making significant changes. This practice ensures you can restore previous configurations if needed.


This approach aligns with the MONTAGE M's data management system, where the User area serves as the staging ground for creating Library files. By carefully managing the content in the User area before saving, you can ensure that your Library files contain only the desired data.

Please, can someone write the installation procedure if I use V.R. unlocker but with Legal Cubase (this implies that I already have activation manager, media buy, download assistant installed..) The procedure and whether I should make a backup and save some dll and other files before installation... User earth33 has already written about the procedure but with r2r root certificate, not with VR unlocker. Thanks in advance

Anyone else have problems with installing/using this on Linux via Wine? I get an error saying the OS version isn't supported and even with the necessary files in the places where they're supposed to be it won't boot up.
