but even when you click "dont show again" it pops up again every time you open the plugin ui. the only way to get rid of that message is to unblock the daw in firewall at the moment. hopefully it gets fixed as being paranoid about daw/plugin manufacturers sneaking into my machine through the plugins/daws.

I don't need the instances to communicate with each other, I only want to use them as independent instruments. Forcing that workflow down the user's throat is lame af.

I suspect that “plugin intercommunication” is only part of the reason. Most likely, this is a two-fisted, brutish method of forcing users to remain online, so that the developer can enforce their anti-piracy routines.

To everyone suffering 'cause the needed daw firewall unblock, try the Firewall App Blocker v1.9 (of Sordum.org), is a super standalone tool (for me). That firewall manager has many essential/usefull functions, among them you can "Allow Local Subnet" too..., so you'll maintain your current web interaction allowing this necessary requirement in part of this bundle (as Ambient).

To execute that netsh command go to;

File--->Netsh Commands--->Allow Local Subnet

Tinywall does this as well but it does it automatically I believe. It'll allow local networking communication/loopback but still hard blocks any access to the same program trying to access the outside internet. I love Tinywall because it starts off by just literally blocking everything from accessing the outside internet, and you work your way up by whitelisting programs and tasks one by one, so it's easy to keep track of whitelisted stuff and not wonder what might be slipping by.

There are more free Windows Firewall based tools (e.g. SimpleWall). If someone needs to filter for domain names, there is something like "Sphinx Windows Firewall Control". This allows allow-rules for applications in combination with domain names (allow for xy.com but block others) and is not based on Windows Firewall, but on the WFP Platform (base for Windows Firewall). One caveat though is, that the domain names have to be converted into ip addresses on the fly which could lead to apps starting with 1 sec of delay.

For Mac users, don't know if it's working or helpful but i'm using crossover on my Mac to run the Keygen.
Then when generation i'm going to de C drive

Users>Crossover> AppData>Roaming>Audio Modeling>UserData

When instelling the Mac trial the same files are here:

Mac>Users>Your Name>Libary>Audio Modeling>UserData

So i'm now dragging the Windows files (.swmk files) to the mac folder.

Tried this on MacMini M4 Pro with latest String Sections and R2R keygen.
Simply copying the swmk-file as mentioned above doesn't work. Both files have different sizes.
Any further ideas?

what to block guys ?!!!

My DAW is already blocked

Pop-up menu shows , re-open after zillion times again , again!!

searched my PC for any .exe , .com, .bat file for these plugins that may be calling home from outside the DAW , found nothing in
Roaming , Temp , ProgramData , Program Files

so, what ?!!
I'm here , That's more than enough !!
