Mixland 3348 TAPE v1.0.2 REGGED READ NFO [WiN&MAC]-F4A screenshot
F4A | 13 November 2024 | 73 MB / 38 MB
The secret weapon of countless hits, now a plugin.

7 rare units in 1 plugin.
We modeled 7 uncharted vintage converters, each one delivering a truly unique sonic signature that you won't find in any other plugin.

Advanced Harmonic Distortion
Drive the signal to achieve rich buttery warmth, or nuke the BIAS parameter for aggressive clipping effects.

Precision Sound Shaping
Shape your sound with custom filter curves, precise frequency control, and advanced sweepable emphasis to add warmth and character.

NFO
Dev changed to a new filename when saving the serial.
You need to RE-REGISTER v1.0.2 if you replace old version (same serial as before works)
Even legal buyers, updating, will have this problem.

What's the difference between this and the 100's of other tape machine plugins?

This is not tape saturation, it is an AD/DA emulation. The machines it emulates were digital, the tape only stored data. It's a really good sounding plugin with lots of glue. I like it to glue back vocals into the lead vocal, and also a little bit in the mix bus before compression.

I tried most of the available tape plugins, but I always end up not using any. But it's fun to play around with sometimes.

softube seems to be my favourite, then I have the UAD native spark stuff, then Keeve and plugin alliance, I have most of them and I can tell you that they are helpful on busses, digital seems to add a harsh effect, you think you have analogue emulations but when on all tracks, identicle, it adds junk you hear later in the mix which no analogue gear does, its flatter, so plugin alliance or tape or ada ablation helps color things up more

Great tool, transient rounder! Especially useful on drums (drive the limiter), and emulating part of the magic of 90’s electronic musics tone!
Thx 2 everyone in here supporting us with all the great tools!
