this one can open some locked script more. (it need a resource hacker final step to do that)

that mean you have access to the script of the engine.

the original script button is hidden under a transparent layer, so it never open.
mixwave drums also have the same behaviour.

Sorry for asking here, how can I completely reset added library list? Searched everywhere and find no solutions. I placed library in a wrong folder accidentally and then renamed it. Now it showed in Kontakt as missed one no matter readding it through "add button".

Go to the main menu on the upper left, click on "File"
> "Options"
> A new window appears
> Go to "Libraries" on the left then "launch library tool"

Now you can set a different path to your library and/or, possibly, add others

It just launch same Kontakt_Button app. It remains missing in Kontakt no matter if I add library own new folder or scan folder with all libraries. Kontakt_Button shows it as added but it still missing. So, how to actually reset all added library list where is it stored?

*Update
Just checked, yeah it seems that Kontakt_Button can only ADD libraries, but doesn't delete them if they where removed, leaving missing covers in Kontakt itself.

Found a solution. Answering my own question. Added libraries stored here as *.json files.

Does it work for you to just remove the json file of a library you removed there?

I am asking because in the past you needed to delete also the respective xml file in
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center

And also delete the respective keys in the registry, for example with regexplorer from HomeCooked TinyToolz 1-6-TRACER

Yes worked for me. I'm not sure but adding library through Kontakt_Button app in
bobdule release seem to not adding anything to the registry.

Also it didn't add library.xml file in Service Center folder (NativeAccess.xml from release already include any possible libraries yet). So I deleted *.json file and "missed" library finally gone from Kontakt menu.

No issues for me so far, you can have both of bobdules kontakt 7 and 8 installed, there is no conflict

Yes I cant see my libraries in K8 even cant switch to classic view, already erased my json files but nothing.

Why is NI Kontakt the industry standard sampler? I ask this because it seems to be very buggy and inferior to it's competitors Falcon and Halion. I just don't understand why Kontakt has the backing of so many sample library producer companies. Why can't sample libraries be cross compatible to work with all 3 major players? Owning Halion myself I feel extremely limited with so many Kontakt libraries on the market which are only compatible with Kontakt. I feel Halion and Falcon have much more professional UI's which aren't so childish basic looking. Just wish Halion got more love and compatibility with sample library producers. Does anyone else feel sick of Kontakt's dominance in the sample library market?

Because, unfortunately, they won at a time no one else was truly competing with them, so they got the most market share. It's the same business model as Photoshop, Premiere, Maya, Autocad, etc. They're all overly expensive, sometimes buggier and worse than competitors, but since they are "industry standard", that's where most people will go to, and that's where developers will put most of their resources in. Sampling doesn't have huge profit margins, so it's no wonder why it's either Kontakt or recently some proprietary in-house sampler from the company.

It just sucks overall because Kontakt used to be good, but in the last decade or so people already caught up to it and there are better software in the market today. There's really nothing Kontakt is better at anymore.
