Sorry, first time (in a long time) trying to patch a software by Adobe. After installation, what I need to do first? To patch or to block the hosts?

I tried this way patch then block, but when opening the software I'm getting a message from Adobe saying they couldn't connect to the internet. I guess that means the patch didn't pass.

Please let me know what should I do next.
