Yes, disable SIP,whenever You use SL. Replace the App and the vst3-file inside the App (contents>ara>vst3). Worked for me.

You can use it without disabling SIP, there's instructions on sister site. Takes a bit of persistence but it works and is worth doing.

Idk what I'm doing wrong. Replaced binary, dylib, vst3 in the install version no luck. Still getting Need manager.

Instructions:
Extract and Replace K'D to 
/Applications/SpectraLayers11.app/Contents/MacOS/SpectraLayers 11

../../MacOS
is the main binary dir so not sure how the 
.../../MacOS/SpectraLayers 11
plays into this

I'm trying to understand how the k'd zipped app plays in. Am swapping the binaries from it? Tried swapping the whole app and adding the vst3 to that one. Tried the opposite, no dice.

still not working and followed all instructions

show package contents replace spectralayers and dyib from orginal app

then swap out vst3

then codesign still asking for activation please advise
