That just proves my point even further, a preset is just knob and slider positions and should only be a few kbytes each, and they pack REALLY well. If they're not done by Arturia, of course.

I think the size was really an issue before 2005 with hdds about 100-250gb, but now complaining about 12gb fx having like 1tb (in most cases much more) space available is like... ugh

You're missing the point, of course. This doesn't have to be more than 100 mb technically, could even be less (look at Wave Arts) but because no effort was made towards the size, it's 12,7GB. It's just pure laziness. Secondly, sure you might have room for it but the 250.000 files (just a guess) WILL have a negative impact on your system. Why don't you install it then? Go on, I dare ya, and drop a screenie when you've done it

Hey guys, I can't get the patch to work on an M1 Mac. I'm usually pretty good at getting things working and am following the instructions. But everything is coming up as a demo. Do you need to do a machine restart?

I use "Permissions Reset 2"
-open the free tool and drop the "folder of Patch" in window
-press "reset"
-start the patch
