I'm a little confused by these instructions, maybe someone can clarify.

Instruction #1 is to install but instruction #2 is uninstall previous versions. Normally I would do this BEFORE installing the new version lol. Is that not what should be done here?

Also #1a says "Terminal Code: sudo /Applications/Waves\ Central.app/Contents/MacOS/Waves\ Central" - it's only "sudo" and no other text?

1.Disable gatekeeper

sudo spctl --master-disable

2.Dequarantine files (specially patched files if getting damaged error)

sudo xattr -cr "plugin or file location"

3.codesign the application (error developer cannot -be verified)

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign "app location"

For example:

sudo xattr -cr /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/FabFilter Pro-Q 3.vst3

sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/FabFilter Pro-Q 3.vst3

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/FabFilter Pro-Q 3.vst3

The only Plugin-Crack-Series that can‘t handle Apple’s Silicon for whatever reason - or does this one work on M1/M2 (natively?)

With the release of Waves V13 plugins, we announce full official Apple Silicon support for host applications that are themselves Apple Silicon-compatible. In addition, we announce full official Apple Silicon support for V13 SoundGrid applications and above.
Waves V14 plugins are fully supported in Apple Silicon processors running the following DAW versions and higher:

Confirming it works for M1 Ventura 13.6.6 with the latest RET patch and R2R kegen (available here).
A general rule of thumb, anything released after the RET release (in this case v2024.02.11), i.e. Waves Stream, will not work. Also, for apple silicon users, Key Detector and Gemstones will not work, but they work fine for Intel users.

I followed all installation instructions as closely as possible but all plugins are opening as demo. Does anyone know what might be causing this? I did have a previous installation of Waves Ultimate but it's unclear how to properly uninstall the previous installation.

The previous version must be properly uninstalled (R2R has published a .txt file, but only for win)
Uninstall WC first, then clean paths
Do an advanced search with Waves then WaveShell and delete everything
you can also visit the Waves website ;)

Has anyone had the plugins show up as demo even though you followed instructions as closely as possible? Were you able to activate the plugins after they said demo? Can you please share the steps you took to achieve this?
