Hello there. I have a question for who can (and would) answer: I'm a ProTools user and I don't understand why almost all downloads (effect or instruments) aren't available in AAX format... but if I check in their homesite, they're available.
Is it more difficult to work on AAX codes?
Hope you understand my poor English...
Thanks to everyone.

I suggest using a wrapper as a workaround, until the situation changes.

It's almost impossibile to crack AAX, you should crack Pro Tools also, and at least on Mac it's very very hard. The only "cracked" AAXs aren't really cracked, but: a) they require a serial to be activated and the cracker provide a serial or a keygen to generate "legit" serials. b) they require a challange-response auth system which the cracker was able to decipher. c) They don't have any kind of protection.

AAX cannot be modified and work in PT to my knowledge, so depending on how the k/patch etc was done, you aren't going to find a lot less options in the AAX world generally.

The solution for many using Protools to access these releases is to do so through Blue Cat software etc, which acts as a host for different kinds of plugins then just AAX. Another layer of pita, and it's been a long time since I did so.. but that's the reality unfortunately ...
..grateful for HEXWARS, R2R, SYNTHiC4TE, CASHMERE & ALL teams, AZ crew past and present, and friends I have met here . RIP and LOVE to Olymoon and his family.

You're right. I've been trying to find out how to disable the Pro Tools "plug-in integrity checking" which detects any modification over any plug-in and avoids it to be loaded in the DAW but no luck so far. I hope someone comes up with a solution at some point. It's clear this "utility" needs to be disabled in Pro Tools, in the installer or once it's installed.

Finally, right?! Us mac arm users were stuck on 1.5.9 for 2 years forced to stay in Rosetta mode I ended up getting a bundle that incl Massive, but before that the wait was so frustrating!
y'all got anymore of those plugins??

Short question, guys, the installer for Massive is Apple silicon. But the massive patch requires Rosetta. How do you install it on ARM computers if the patch requires Rosetta?

Yes, I use Blue Cat and works fine. My question was about the difficulty of working on AAX code. Thanks a lot
