For those of you ABOUT TO ROCK ... er, sorry - who can't get the patcher working, simply do this:
1. Go to C:\Program Files\Hit'n'Mix\RipX and right-click on the ripx.exe
2. Select Properties Tab
3. Select Compatibilities Tab
4. "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" Windows 7
5. Select 'Apply'
6. Thank me profusely ;-)

It works for me, but it's claims an activation, saying "not registered". Seems like Mocha is missing something.

I wonder why RipX doesn't work with GPUs of xx60 versions? For me, I have RTX 3060 and it is out.

System Requirements:

So is 1070 really better than 3060?
And no one asks about it...

I have a 3060 in my laptop and it happened to me, i couldnt believe my eyes when i saw a 1070 but not a 3060, kind of a joke.

This is just a guess, and not sure if accurate or not. But this might be related to the driver/firmware/bios limits NVIDIA put on rtx 3060s to prevent crypto miners from using them. Might affect some machine learning algorithms that utilize gpus as well.

Hit'n'Mix won't run on my machine unless there's a workaround.

What you guys consider FAST RENDERING? I have 13700K and 4080 Gainward Phantom GS and rendering with Cuda 11 installed, with almost 100% CPU utilization hitting 100C on fucking 360 AIO water cooling is crazy, and lasts 2 min. Is this fast?

100 percent works with GPU acceleration on Nvidea RTX 3060. I struggled to get it to work originally. I have researched and found that cuda 11.2 has to be installed for it to work. Any other version of cuda will not activate the GPU. My rip times with GPU encoding have gone down from 4 minutes to 1 minute per track.

I am also experiencing issues with the Mocha version.

Program installs fine.

Program opens fine, however the app title says "RipX DAW PRO - ACTIVATE To Create Rips"

In its current state, you can rip songs, but you can't edit them inside the program and you also can't export the stems.

As far as the "patcher" goes - was there a patcher? Or do you guys just mean there is a cracked .exe? Because that is what I have, a cracked RipX.exe. Even after copy pasting it into the program directory and overwriting the original file, RipX still is not fully functional.

Lastly, even trying the Windows 7 compatibility trick did not work for me.

Hopefully someone is willing to share a solution for this. If I find one, I will post here and share it myself.

I downloaded this version then overwrote the .exe file with the crack found on the other RipX 7.1 release listed below if you search for rRpx on this site. . It has worked like a treat so far.
I have also been able to get GPU encoding to work with my RTX 3060 which I was not able to do on the previous release.

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately, even the alternate cracked .exe did not work for me.

I still have the same problem where the program installs successfully, I can open it, I can rip songs, but I cannot edit the audio and I also cannot export the stems, which is the primary reason why I use the software.

Hit 'n Mix must have altered something with the way their program handles activation in the 7.x.x version. For now, I am back to using RipX 6.4.1.

I became interested in RipX Pro after reading some high praises about it. I've put it thru its paces, separating the drum & percussion from a track. As with all of these types of apps, results sound less than great (I'd go so far as to say they sound like shit actually, with imperfect separation & underwater tone). Hopefully I can run the separated stem thru Ableton to convert the audio to MIDI & then assign my own drums (hopefully, anyways; I haven't gotten that far with it yet).
I'm hoping that in the not-to-distant future , AI advancements will enable better results. Saying that, all of the apps if this ilk need to do a lot better.
