This seems much more usable now than ages ago when I first tried it.
I like the Galaxpel skin, and GUI scaling.

The official project doesn't allow much ROM discussion, but I assume XL is the same as the TI and likely has the most features.

Also if anyone knows anywhere other than here to get some presets feel free to share. :)

The XL was just the C in a 2u rack form. I believe it otherwise has the exact same features as the C. TI came out a few years later.

With that said, what I don't know is if the presets differ between those ROMs.

Does anyone have the 4.5.8 B ROMs? There are some significant advantages to using that specific version according to the devs, they were able to make some optimizations using a feature in that specific version that was removed in later versions like 4.9.

I have the roms from this download, which includes the Virus B 4.9 rom. I'm asking for the Virus B 4.58 rom, which this download (and all of the previous ones, and all of the available downloads I can find online) does not contain. The latest rom for the Virus B is 4.9 and that's what's easily available. The feature in 4.5.8 was removed in later versions like 4.9.

Make sure to try out Virus B OS 4.58 if you want to see some cool performance improvements

The 4.58 OS can be downloaded via the Access website (needs only an ac) as *_458.mid and it works with Osirus but no factory sounds included. So it is also not possible to test the performance with the Osirus virusTestConsole.

Any way to merge this? The factory sounds also included in the zip but as separate ABM.mid file.

I'm getting constant CPU dropouts, to the point of unusability. Using the B rom and I'm on an M1 mac, latest OS, and Ableton 11.3something (the latest one). Changing Ableton's buffer size doesn't seem to help. Can anyone help?

use a buffer of 128. that is what i use with my m1 and latest ableton 11.
in this macbook pro m1, weirdly, if i increase the buffer while using headphones it uses more cpu. try the 128 buffer and try no to use the headphones out.

Are you using the HCISO release of ableton posted here?

Yeah I usually use a lower buffer size but that doesn't change anything for me with OSIRUS.

With an empty ableton project except for OSIRUS, activity monitor shows Ableton CPU use at 80%
