The VSE-4 plugin is inspired by the musical sound of the VSE-2 EQ, but presents its own unique sonic identity, integrated in a highly flexible user interface concept.

With a fully parametric and modular design and its unique Saturation and FM Drive controls, the VSE-4 provides precise and musical EQing with analog sound, as well as exceptional control over the nonlinear behaviour of the filters. This enables the creation of more complex frequency-based distortion effects.

The nonlinear filter circuits have been meticulously tuned and digitally modelled to give each of the 13 filter types its own sonic character. Combined with the Overdrive module there are even more options to create rich overtones or heavy distortion.

All of this VErtigo Stuff. As i heard them in real ---> which means the HArdware which is also available and 10 times the Price of the Plugin.
Ohh.... sorry ----> i was wrong.
The Hardware is 20-30 times the Price of Plugin.

I have also seen many tests of the plugins, the question I ask myself is whether it is worth the price difference from VSC itself, like the plugins from Plugin Alliance. It seems to be a matter of taste, but it's great that the Mac community can now see for themselves. So thumbs up to the releaser & cracker.

this new Vertigo releases are from plugin alliance or is it a separate release only from Vertigo ? Have they left Alliance ?

Vertigo itself has always cooked its own soup with its hardware and software. Even before the PA plugins appeared. PA only modeled the VSC-2 and VSM-3. All other modules were always developed and distributed directly by Vertigo.

VST2 is now finally an extinct format. Like Intel with Apple.

Now that all other creators have finally completed the transition to VST 3 in 2023
There is no longer any need for VST2

i installed those 3 Vertigo releases in AU and VST and only shows AU on DAW, and…..

when i choose one of those 3 AU to open, the DAW shows an error and shuts down the project.

those Vertigo plugins doesn't work for me.

i installed both (AU and VST) but nothing happens here..
i'm running Sonoma on MBPro i7 processor.
