Plugin Alliance TBTECH Cenozoix Compressor v1.0.0 U2B Mac [MORiA] screenshot
MORiA | AU | VST | VST3 | 204.5 MB
The Three-Body Technology Cenozoix Compressor is named after the Cenozoic era, a time following the extinction of the dinosaurs. Packed with innovations, this mixing and mastering plugin is leading the charge into a new age of compressors.

Get the sound of 12 classic compressors
Cenozoix features compression algorithms for all essential elements of production including “Drum,” “Vocal,” “Bus,” and “Mastering,” but also algorithms that recreate the sound of vintage compressors, like “Black FET,” “Blue FET,” “Vintage Opto,” “Virtual-Mu,” and more, delivering the perfect balance of utility and versatility. This compressor plugin can handle all your compression needs, from tight and modern sounds to hefty vintage charm.

Apply distortion-free compression to your mixes
Ultra-fast attack and release times can lead to unwanted distortion when using existing compressors. The Cenozoix Compressor utilizes a warp mechanism to avoid these distortion effects, making it a top choice for peak and sidechain compression. Use it to tame harsh snare transients or create basslines that pump alongside your kick.

Reduce aliasing with low CPU load using ADAA
Traditional anti-aliasing methods, which aim to prevent high-frequency distortion, rely on CPU-intensive oversampling. Anti-derivative antialiasing (ADAA) is an audio processing technique developed by Native Instruments, originally used for waveshapers. Instead of depending on oversampling, it leverages advanced mathematics to reduce aliasing without the heavy CPU load. The Cenozoix Compressor is the first compressor plugin to incorporate ADAA.

Ensure natural and responsive peak compression
Many compressors use a static release time, catering to short or long transients but not both. The Cenozoix Compressor’s peak crest function dynamically adjusts the release time based on the nature of the input signal’s transients, ensuring natural and responsive control over dynamic peaks. This makes it a great fit for complex signals running through your vocal, guitar, drum, and stereo bus.

Gain nuanced control over your compression envelope
The Cenozoix Compressor plugin features a peak detector for quick transient response and an RMS detector for smooth compression. Using these detectors in parallel blends their strengths, providing both an immediate response and consistent compression suitable for complex audio material. You also have the option to leverage pure peak or RMS-based detection, best suited for individual track elements.

FEATURES
- 12 compression algorithms that recreate the sound of classic compressors
- 12 compression algorithms for common use cases
- Distortion-free compression
- Anti-derivative antialiasing (ADAA)
- Dual peak and RMS detection
- Release time that adjusts dynamically
- Odd and even harmonic generation

does it work along authentic plugins
  Member 26.08.2023 211

separate drive, example USB for your extra stuff, the authentic is always the divide (internal drive) in which you see on the PA site in your account.

Nice trick! Thank You Petra.

Legit PA plugs don't have to be on the internal drive. I've had the legit plugs on USB keys only, registered in my PA account, and not legit on the internal drive of the computers for years. No issue, it's fine. As long as you keep the two separate it doesn't matter which one you put where.

How do you get Legit Pa plugs to be found on the external drive? I've tried this but something is missing. I've moved the lic. to that drive, partitioned etc. No luck being found...

It seems, although you have been a member here for several years, you haven't understood that this is exactly the right place to discuss if something works or not.

You should also not forget that if you are going to be in a forum like this, you should have some idea and basic knowledge of computers.
Not everything is served up on a silver platter here.

OK guys.

First, I have to undelete and translate mauwurf's first comment:

There are always these comments about something not working.

Then this forum is not the right one.

And then just below that a comment that it works.

Then exchange ideas and write messages or just leave it alone.

To answer to all this. The problem is not stating if it works or not.
The problem is how it is stated it.
Just saying " it works" or "it doesn't work" does not bring help.

Every comment like this should include all the information needed: The system, the DAw, the exact version used (AU, VST or whatever), if the DAW is blocked by a firewall or not, etc ... And if possible, how the user installed it.

Without this information, it's completely useless.

But, about
Then this forum is not the right one.

Remember that members here are supposed to be interested in music, many of them are not computer specialists, so it can be difficult for them to go further a certain level of experimentation.

And to act like a tattletale towards the moderators just because I demand that you stimulate your gray brain cells is not too much to ask in my opinion.
Where will we get to if we start shouting mimimi at every little resistance?

This is personal, and should not be part of this conversation.

Maybe this works:
Download Hex Fiend:
Obtain a free hex editor such as Hex Fiend for this step.

Open Patched Binary File:
Locate the patched binary file in the package contents/MacOS folder and open it with Hex Fiend.

Find/Replace Operation:
In Hex Fiend, perform a Find/Replace operation on the "pa.license" and replace it with a name of
your choice (e.g., "pc.license"). Ensure that the replacement name has the same length as "pa.license."

Save Changes:

Save the changes made to the patched binary file in Hex Fiend.

no it does work. if you have the kirchkoff EQ, you have to go to that folder, create a folder core CenozoixCompressor, and copy/paste the commonsettings.json folder from the kirchkoff EQ to that folder. It works just fine.

I'll make an exception for you. Apparently you have found a translation program.

So: I got the following error message.

Failed to write on file /Users/spee/Library/ThreeBodyTech/CenozoixCompressor/themes/default.cps_theme. Please eusure you are able to write this file.

What does that tell you?

So you check what's going on in this directory?

And lo and behold... It's not even there. Oh dear.

Solution. You simply create this directory manually!

/Users/erwinor/Library/ThreeBodyTech/CenozoixCompressor/themes/

And then assign write permissions. Preferably for the whole folder.

sudo chmod +w /Users/erwinor/Library/ThreeBodyTech.

Then run the plugin again and voila.

It's not that difficult.
Even better, install the official demo first. Then you have the presets.

And then install this version here.
