Now these purified presets can be used even with third-party imperfect releases (eg R2R) that did not support protected presets

I think V collection come with few 10-20 sound banks out of 3xx sound banks in link above which this release cover it all.

Sorry, I might be too dumb to understand. If I download this, is it a folder with the missing soundbanks or is this an installer? I ask because I downloaded not long ago the V collection X and it had a few soundbanks but it was almost same size as this. I appreciate if you answer.

Yes, this is only sound banks, no program at all. These sound banks not include in v collection X you need to buy it from arturia website if you want to use it. So this download contain whole sound banks that you can buy from arturia website for free.

I think VR Arturia stuff has a symlink install option. If not you can always do it yourself with LinkShellExtension

I can still feel the moment of relief when I got acquainted with LinkShellExtension. Yes, it would be marvelous to have an option in all installers to point to other drives but the extra steps to take isn't a really big deal. I do the following because I stick to R2R releases.

First you need to Install "LinkShellExtension" and reboot/log off and On. The rest you can read in the spoiler ;).

Previous bundles were a single installer and new versions could be installed over top replacing the version/uninstall info in Windows.

As this has multiple installers, I think it would be best to uninstall previous versions first.

Also it would be great if there was an update only release so we don't need to re-download 20GB for a few new soundbanks.

If it's the same as the previous installer, they now give an option to install all the Pigments sound banks in the pack or just the Arturia ones or 3rd Party ones. The installer also gives the same options for the Synth V-Colleciton, Keyboards V-Collection, and the Augmented Bundle.

EDIT: This version has completely separate exe's for each of the sound banks

I'd like to see the readily unpacked files (everything below %appdata%/Arturia/) instead of the InnoSetup packages (I'm on Mac and can't manage to extract the InnoSetup stuff as they're encrypted). Thanks never the less.

I am having a serious issue with the augmented plugins presets. InsanityWolf is as well. I did not install over top an older version. Selecting 'most' presets show anywhere from 2 to 5 files missing. A search for the files show nothing in another folder. Ideas? installers unpacked fine. Have tried several times.

Most third party banks have missing samples or wavetables. Also, there's an Augmented Strings bank called Arcane Realms that contain only one preset, that can't be right.
