works amazing with latest patch and no problems with ventura 13.6.3 M2 just make sure your aware of each instructions both on the patch and on the one that comes with this and of course turn off internet and fix permitions in waves central before continuing. Hope this helps

does this work? the last one i put on my M1 was months ago. after replacing V12 with V14, its been in demo mode ever since and i have to go into Rosetta mode for it work. Makes me wish i hadnt dont it.

As this release clearly states:


- Apple Silicon is not supported and not tested
- Waves Gemstones and Key Detector does not work


- it's worth assuming that it won't work on Apple Silicon. Maybe it's working in Rosetta mode. But it may not work in native mode, which is what we want.

So the question is, will the RET release that came as a Patch Only a week ago and works perfect on Apple Silicon, also work on this release? One would assume there's a good chance but you can never be sure. So has anyone tested it?

I finally made it installing it. But unfortunately it only works in Rosetta Mode! MacBook Pro M1 Pro. When applying the latest RET patch, it shows also demo mode in Rosetta.

Is there anybody who could explain to me how I can run it natively without demo mode?

0) Uninstall previous versions

1) Install :
-Install Waves Central and Run
-Select Offline Installer and Click Install from an Offline Installer
-Select Waves Ultimate or any other plugins and applications and select Install (Uncheck SD/HD)
-No need to reboot at the end of the installation (yet)

2) Replace "WavesLicenseEngine" in
/Library/Application Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle/Contents/MacOS/

3)Codesign WavesLicenseEngine.bundle (Run in terminal):

sudo xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

4) Replace "index.js" in
/Library/Application Support/Waves/COSMOS/HTML/

Replace "app.asar" in
/Applications/Waves/COSMOS/COSMOS.app/Contents/Resources/

(I don't use COSMOS so I don't know if it works because I didn't install it.)


5) Run R2R KeyGen on Windows or Crossover.
Input Device ID to the keygen.
Find your computer id on waves central licenses tab, enter exact id to keygen and generate license file.
You can also find ID on
/Library/Application Support/Waves/Licenses/LastAcceptableMACAddress.txt
Generate *.wle license.

6) Copy *.wle license to
[Computer License]
/Library/Application Support/Waves/Licenses/

7) Reboot

8) Run AU reg Utility from /Applications/Waves/WaveShells V14

the latest ret patch working %100 on silicon chip and sonoma I run logic pro x and everything works fine without rosetta mode... If you are still running under demo mode probably u re doing a mistake with those steps given by me now

OK so your saying this should work on m1 with Sonoma OSX, but why does it say apple silicon not tested, the waves site support m1, does this mean the actual offline file we download here is not silicon but you can download the actual plugins using a temporary email etc?

those are the right instructions step by step, I did it last week just like this user mentioned and it works natively and ran it on logic pro 10.8 no problems and as well as protools legit 23.12 i believe I'm on so just follow the instructions

Got this working natively on an M1 but silk is still in demo mode. Anyone get silk working?

Is it possible that it’s still not working on M1 because I’ve updated Sonoma to 14.3, which just yesterday has been released? If so, I’m gonna downgrade my Mac to Ventura today and try it again.

The V.R. crack is always for Intel only and leaves some features unlicensed.
If you apply the RET crack on this offline installer, everything works like a charm, even Gemstone, not to mention Key Detectors.

I got it working on a m1 Sonoma but logic got the local server errors and then as soon as I turned on SIP after testing nothing would load, some apps in my app folder like google chrome also refused to launch since.

Anybody know if the soundgrid studio / E-motion thing work? i'd like to use them to record realtime with plugins on. Or does it require hardware?
