IRDX Core Speaker Dynamics
Breathe life into your guitar amp sims and cabinet impulse responses. Simply add IRDX Core after your guitar amp or IR loader plugin and discover the natural movement, the 3D sensation, the slightly jagged edges, and the unpredictability you could previously only obtain by recording an actual guitar cabinet at high volumes with a microphone.

IRDX Core is a unique plugin. It does NOT load impulse responses but instead can be placed after any amp sim or IR loader to add natural sounding speaker dynamics. The kind you can only get by blasting a big speaker cabinet at incredibly high volume.

In any major DAW, launch the IRDX Core plugin on an insert slot that immediately follows an IR loader plugin or a guitar amp simulation that includes a model of a speaker cab.

You can use IRDX Core to enhance any such plugin except for the Bogren Digital ones. That’s because all our amp sim plugins already have the IRDX technology built into them!

Any other brand’s IR loader or guitar amp plugin will sound better if it’s followed by IRDX Core.

Yeahhhh..., adds some kind of 3D audio somehow..., i guess it take some peaks & place them in different *virtual places* through volume and some kind of variable frequencies, it's really a nice step forward. I hear the guitar in my face hahahahahaha

I wonder what made Jens Bogren decide to not include a IR loader in this plugin. I'm sure there is a reason, I just would like to know why, because it was the obvious choice.

He's preparing a big one, for sure IRDX will be included for multiple speakers loading, but isn't easy achieve it without bottle-necking the cpu (yet). I guess he'll find a way, I wonder if it's possible through C++.

I try other ampsims but go back to th-u every time. This uses a lot of CPU but doesn't add much IMHO.

Surely I can just use Fabfilter EQ to create some cab dynamics? Anyone kno what settings to use to create some cab movement on an IR?

Try Red Rock Sound Fuse Stereo Image or Nembrini Audio Doubler with some good EQ'ing.
