My personal solution to that, is to make my own presets.
But if you need "normal" sounds, it's easier to do them with another, more "simple" synth, like Phaseplant.

I suppose that they sell them with cinematic presets, because they are the ones that demonstrate better the deep possibilities of this kind of synth.
That's a marketing error that have been done by other developers, like Kilohearts for Phaseplant, but under users pressure, Kilohearts guys, created a new set of presets more usable in day to day work for Phaseplant in the last free update.

Anyways I'm going to give this one a try. PM me if you want some specific presets. I'll try to do it for you.

EDIT: Tried it, it's very interesting, but as I foresaw, it's not made to create normal patches. You can do it, but spending more time than with Spire or Vital. But it worth its $129.00 if you do complex synthesis.
It's quiet practical also, as you can save any part of a patch (something I miss in Phaseplant).
Also, you can create your own preset simply by combining the modules patches presets, without even doing any synthesis, so it's not so hard.

The only negative point, and it's a very bad one, is the GUI colors are so harsh and contrasted that it's difficult to work with it for a long time. My eyes get tired. (And this one is the less bad in this developer's design for this matter). This only would stop me from buying it until there would be several skins.
Also, there is a special wide screen resizing function. But the fonts and sizes of the modules stays the same, so it's not very practical, specially for 4k monitors.

Thanks to your comment Plouf, I will probably adopt this synth in my short list, if they do improvement so the GUI make it usable for professional work
