I think the problem (for some) might be that you arbitrarily install AAX from your doctored installer -- you can choose which plugs you want to install from the Customize window, but not which format, which is a flaw inside Fabfilter's original installer. I always assume that there's no AAX unless it specifically says so, but the installer automatically installs them along with everything else and then you have to manually remove them from your PT plugs folder, if you have one (I do and I just did).

Anyway, many thanks! Seems to be working fine in Mojave, as per usual!
