We need a way we can run the cracked versions along with legit versions. From what I understand, now if users who have any legit plugins try the cracks, their account will be banned.

maybe try little snitch to restrict the plugins making a connection to the server? not tested just thinking about what could work.

You can use both the cracked and original plugins at the same time. The important thing is to follow two fundamental rules:

1) Never go to the Acustica website by logging in with cracked plugs installed. Before doing this you need to remove all the cracked plugins and then you can do it. Same thing if you intend to use the Aquarius application to manage the original plugs. The penalty inflicted will be to be banned for 24 hours and then if you repeat the mistake you'll be banned forever.

2) If you have already installed the Acustica plugs (demo or full) you don't have to install the 'framework' folder from the 'Acustica Audio Framework 2023 macOS' release as it will already be present and it's better to leave the original. Same thing for the 'Acustica' folder in user name/library/Application Support since this will already be there too.

That's it, at least it worked for me after being banned for 24 hours.

I've only found one problem for now: some plugs crash Logic X as soon as I try to change the size of the GUI and it doesn't depend on the lack of the 'Acustica' folder in the right location. I still have to do some tests but probably a fix will be needed for these plugs

NOTE: It should not be necessary to prevent network access to applications that use Acustica plugs but to be safe, if you have 'Aquarius' installed, prevent network access via Little Snitch or other similar software. Obviously you must then remember to deactivate everything you have done as soon as you decide to update or modify your original plugs following the two rules written above.

nice tips, however dont believe they'll 'scan' your computer by just going to acustica's website while logged in, apple doesnt let a browser access user folders. Just remove them from the plugin folder. If the plugins crash while resizing have you xattr quarantine & codesign each plugin?

No, I also don't think it's possible but as a precaution I wouldn't try to log in with the cracked plugins loaded on the Mac used to access your account. However, if you use Aquarius like I did, it's certain that you'll be banned like what happened to me. Regarding the cracking procedure I did everything according to instructions but unfortunately Aquamarine 5 and Ash crash my DAW if I try to use the 'Size' function. Someone advised me to install the demos and then use part of the installed files to crack them. We'll see what happens....

It may be that you forgot to create a folder, name it 'Acustica', which you'll place as is in User Name/library/application Support.

The 'Nebula.framework' folder, however, must be placed in the main library (Library/Frameworks) not in the user one. You must also codesign it..

It happens the same to me. Uninstall and reinstall, reading with attention the instruction in the txt file. Keep in mind that if you alreaady have the original framework, you can keep it, otherwise you need to download it.

Number One Step: 1. Place Nebula.framework here:

Library/Frameworks

If have already installed a Demo or Legit Stuff before then Skip this Step with the Framework.

Second Step:
Create an empty folder called "Acustica" in "username"/Library/Application Support

("username"/Library/Application Support/Acustica)

NOTE: GUI resize settings will be saved in this location. If you change GUI size
without this folder, the DAW will likely crash.


Third Step:
Run this command in Terminal:

sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Library/Frameworks/Nebula.framework

Fourth Step:
Installing Acustica Audio Plugins:

1. Place all individual plugin files directly into respective plugin folder for
the plugin type(s) you intend to use.
(These files may include .N2S, .XML, and VST2, VST3, and/or AU among others.)


Fith Step:

hi, I'm on Mac M1 Big Sur using Ableton.
i have the error 'Unable to load vst-2 plugin'.
I did all the steps mentioned to install it..
I already installed nebula framework (I already installed Space Control by Acustica and is perfectly working).

Can someone please write a well detailed guide on the steps?
or please can someone confirm if this works on Mac m1?
