Check where it installed the .dll. I found for some strange reason the TCD releases install into C:\VstPlugins, it could be different on your system. But for me a previous TCD release wasn't in my default VST plugins folder.

The plugin itself works, but when it (catalyst) scans for installed plugins, it won't find any of my installed synths.

Same here, scans (Ableton 11) but no plugins detected (VST3 and VST2 directory)...well, plugins detected during Scan but not added to de list

I have similar issues. I think this only accepts VST3? seems to be the case for me...

actually it seems it only has a problem with one or two plugins. I have ACE and it will not load it...

Another TCD release that doesn't work properly. Seems to be a pattern. Don't waste your time guys. It doesn't recognize any plugins.

You can easily output MIDI from the device by creating a new MIDI track in Ableton, works fine for me.
