So all those rumours about it being Waves' competitior to Soothe based on the blurry screenshots were.....kinda right. On the face of it, seems to be similar but for a much more limited use case. I'm guessing this is just a throwaway tease and the full Silk plugin that will be their Soothe competitor will follow soon.

I agree that the processed vocal sounds modern and up front compared to those sub par recordings, but why did he or whowever use the shittiest mics ever to record those vocals in the first place or maybe even destroy the original files with eq on purpose ? I can't stand that kind of stuff. I'd rather hear subtle differences in comparison that be voodoo'd.

Before I install all this can anyone tell me please if I can then choose what to install and what not or do I have to install the whole bundle?
I ask because I am still using W9 and only use 3 or 4 plugins of that (but thought perhaps it is time I upgrade).

yes bro you can, i only use the ssl channels, the tape and some other 2 plugins. Just select the plugins and hit install. Quick tip, don't try t install a bunch at once, go for 5 or 4, is faster.

I've tried this new VST, which by the way is free. I really liked it a lot; it's like a kind of 'chain,' seen in a sort of 'lazy way,' right? You put it on, tweak a bit here and there, and you already have your track equalized, with compression, and you can use a gate. I also notice there's a subtle saturation that adds some 'color' and life. I tested it on other tracks too, like drums and instruments. It works well there as well. In fact, I tried it on the master to see how it goes, but it was too bright. However, if you dial down the 'Mix' to around 10%, it adds a nice color.

I know there are other similar and even better VSTs in terms of 'saturation and color,' but they require more time and, if you need to add a compressor afterward, you have to balance between them. This might help to get a quick sense of what you want since it immediately brings 'life' to your vocals and, why not, your track. That's why I call it a 'lazy way.' But if you like how it sounds, why couldn't it work? Personally, I liked it quite a bit, and I'm surprised it's a free VST. I mean, I think it's on par with a paid one. Well, that's my humble opinion

I have installed VR waves bundle correctly every plugin is working fine but when i open Studio Rack and try to open a wave plugin inside the plugin it says with red words there is no plugin and it shows me nothing and if i open a preset the studio rack freez and won't let me click on plugins how to fix this.

Im having the same issues when trying to call up any presets in in Studioverse plugins are ghosted and studiorack wont open in Fl Studio 21 im also on windows 10

Yeah, okay, so I tried installing just Silk Vocals from my Waves account, and everything went into Demo mode. SO now I have to uninstall and reinstall everything. Somebody should put a big warning: Don't use legit WAves Central or it will screw up your crack.

What else did you expect? All manufacturers who use a tool such as WavesCentral have stored the licenses there. I'm not surprised that your plan didn't work.

i have a few legit waves plugins & waves central and everything, should i uninstall them/everything waves related before installing this?

None of the waves plugins show up in Reaper after the new install. Followed the instructions to the letter. Rescanned plugins with reaper and even made sure the path to the plugins is correct. Still nothing. Anyone else had this problem and maybe found a fix?

why when i install everything correctly, when i open a plug in from waves, it doesnt show up properly? i cant see the knobs and the buttons of the plug in but it works... and when i move the window of the vst it shows the background icon of my daw..
