There is a truepeak mode (that you can toggle on at any time) which if remember correctly didn't exist before.

Guys who's using this and how do you rate it for mastering? Is it good for demo mastering when sending a label? Or good even when self releasing and getting high quality results?

ozone 11 doesnt really sound that great imo. ok at best, good tools to use separately but id never pull up ozone 11 to master nor would i use master plan in that way. i was a beta tester for master plan and for rough drafts or to give an artist a quick reference right after they recorded sure i'll toss it on but it doesnt stay. i prefer it more for the ns10 and phone emulation. my mastering chain is hybrid so i never go specifically to 1 or 10 plugins, whatever the record needs but its going through hardware and some plugins before going into my bettermaker limiter...

you know what, look at master plan like a 747... you can get a decent sound just have it 90% there and small tweaks like you would with a 747 you can easily make master plan sound similar but you add some m/s dynamic eq before hand its 10x as powerful... but look at everything as a tool vs a 1 trick pony. look at it as a limiter that has some eq, can clean up some material with saturation and imaging.. though once i get to 1-2 limiters the sound is already shaped and we're just seeing which limiter or clipper sounds best on a record. i'll use master plan on during my noon session probably on a few busses to see how it works out... in actual mastering, ive never used it, probably wont tbh

I feel like if your mix is already okay, you can get to a great result faster with this than with Ozone since it doesn't allow you to do much other than use its (well tuned) macros.
