Actually the riglibs and presets are shared. These are in hidden folders.

After 2 minutes the audio bug is back like in a few versions back.
Hopefully VR fixes it like in the previous version.
Standalone clean install.

played with the standalone for over 30 min changing some presets and trying the new rigs and trying out some cabs no audio dropouts so far

I've played yesterday for several hours, not a single problem. I've blocked it in hosts, in firewall i've blocked the main TH-U.exe and the .dll, .vst3 & .aax plugins, but I really would like to know if the unblock is the crasher for the other machines. As @DarkNight said in previous posts (at least) the main .exe can't connect to Overloud even if you don't block it.

its better you block overloud in hostfile and maybe also block exe, dll, vst3, aax files with your firewalkl as we who does that dont have any problems

yeah me too. I read about the timebomb and tried using it today just to see if it happens. None. It works great for the whole day. Open and closed project about 5 times, crashed DAW even once because of other plugin, but TH-U working fine.

Well, I did a clean install, and always block outgoing traffic.
Previous rev3 version of 1.4.20 of V.R. works flaweless for me. This version does not. Did anyone actually play a few minutes?
Also it is not a dropout but a sampling bug wich is related as explained by V.R. ,we should expect a fix soon.

This is right, a clean install presented the bug again. Installing over previous version does not. It might be a preset problem.
Blocking via hosts does nothing extra , as explained by V.R.

The best i've achieved in 1.4.20 was everything working except for the Libra cab, 3 & 7 Balduccis's presets failed to load, now in this 1.4.21 had no more bugs at all. I'm sadly out of time today, but perhaps around weekend I could do a deep software surgery looking for this random issue through a real *from zero* install.

I hope to not break any rule in Audioz anymore, if the moderators let me do it i'll explain here my way to block i/o any kind of file. I'm not sure if this could be an Overloud hidden feature, but i've experimented a lot about .dll libraries swimming in my intranet, that's why I always block not just .exe files.

FYI, I played around with the.standalone version, win 10 x64.
Also I thoroughly uninstall thu, including the folders that even persist after uninstallation like the hidden preset and riglib folders.
Removed every dll reference and register references..
If you have presets with de acronym ( old ) in thu, your install was not clean.
This to prevent anything remaining or merging with the newer version.

This Version 1.4.21.CE-VR worked fine in a DAW, but in Standalone Mode there is maybe a Sampling Problem.
When I change a Preset or Bank in Standalone Mode there is a massive Distortion or Noise so you can't hear nothing from the Sounds.
I've tried a total clean install (all Hidden and Registy Files deleted) and how before discribed I tried an Installation over V 1.4.20 Rev3 with no success.
But the same Problem remains.
Sometimes when I tried to load a Preset via Rightclick again, sometimes
it works - but not everytime.
Is there any solution. It seems to be a Problem with the Preset.db???

You are right, no matter how you install this version, this is a bug in standalone instance of thu. Hopefully it wil be fixed.
Earlier I posted that installing over the previous version works, but it does not sadly.
Sometimes you get it faster, sometimes it takes a while, it is a sampling bug for sure!
Might be VR or overloud themselves Whom introduced this bug.
