Crashes pretty consistently for me. Mac Studio M1 64 GB, Ventura v13.5. Deep codesigned.

Update: works fine on my i9 laptop, so must just be for intel.

I find this program Interface not intuitive at all compared to other media editors.
Also its very cpu hungry , you'd better have a powerful graphics card, if you want to use it.

It's a very counterintuitive interface and extremely user-hostile if you aren't used to it. The error messages are laughably cryptic and no help at all. But it is absolutely the dominant platform in features and network series for some very worthy reasons: it handles media metadata incredibly well and speaks intelligently to cameras, audio field recorders, DMT rigs, VFX and animation platforms, dialog conform tools, rerecording mix rigs, and grading and finishing software. And Avid's Nexus media server is miles above everything else on the market in terms of managing user access, bandwidth and storage volume - critical factors, especially on major series. The only product that has any hope of threatening Avid's dominance in top tier postproduction is Black Magic's DaVinci Resolve, But it's a serious uphill battle.

Could you please upload the trial reset only?
If it is the old trick (removing some files from the app) it will not work...
Thx a lot

the trial reset is only a terminal command

Can this also work with pro tools?

I met the guy who created an app he called DECK and later worked for macromedia in which he was then contracted to provide avid with the same program but more tracks compared to audio media two track app, which turned out to be session 8 and pro deck later pro tools.., well the FBI purchased AVID and pro tools shares to replace their NAGRA machines..the programmer for DECK was literally targeted by IRS, family courts etc while been screwed losing the rights to Pro Tools software he created and the U Gov in return for this investments gives AVID leeway into education tax exempts, its why they claim to be the standard, they are not. even the big clients have to fork out a share of their income too over support.

Avid is a Gov share owned company,
Media composer is useless unless your part of a network, reseting a pro tools demo would be the best thing that happened in decades.

This is a hilarious accusation, considering what he did to Digidesign (later purchased by Avid). Deck - developed by a small company called BIAS, not by Macromedia - was a kind of cool little software, and Digidesign contracted the developers to create the recording and mixing end of what was to become Pro Tools. A month before release, the three BIAS developers went on holidays, without warning, leaving Digidesign with a seriously flawed mess, riddled with bugs and inconsistencies, and no way to fix it. If anyone remembers the first version of Pro Tools, it was two linked programs, Pro Deck and Pro Edit, and Pro Deck was so bad Digidesign simply rewrote that end of it completely for version 2.0, ending their relationship.

Blaming Avid for his tax problems is laughably lame.
