Assuming you are on Windows... I use what are called "symlinks".
They allow you to move the folders (or files) and create links to them as if they were in their original location.
You can learn to do it manually, but I use a handy tool for the context menu in Windows Explorer. Link to it is in my signature.
Basically , move the folder, then right-click and choose "Pick Link Source"
Right-click in the original location and 'Drop As..." I drop as 'symlink' for most things.

Thanks to Taken using the his Link to 'Link Shell Extension' and his tips :-)
I Copied the full 'Arturia' Folder from C:\ProgramData\[Arturia] to my D: (Drive)
so now on D: I have D:\Arturia (containing approx. 46.8GB).
Then I Deleted the now empty 'Arturia' folder from C:\ProgramData
Then I 'right clicked' the D:\Arturia folder and select 'Pick Link Source'
Then I 'right clicked' in C:\ProgramData\ and select 'Drop As...> Symbolic Link'

I think all the Presets from this Arturia Sound Banks V.R. Bundle are spread across all those folders in that Arturia Folder as well as in the Presets Folder in there so why I decided to just copy it all and all seems to work what I've tested so far.

If one already has a working symlink structure pointing to the different drive/location for the original V collection installation does this installer respect the link pointer and place all this new stuff into the symlinked folder? Or does it simply jam everything into a default <C:\programdata\arturia> folder without regard for anything else?

as have already been suggested you have to use symlinks to move some files from C to D. Consider that it doesn't always work (for various reasons), so always do a test first to see that once the program starts there are no problems. For Arturia banks there are no problems you can safely move them from C to D (or even to a network folder). I suggest you this program for create symlinks link shell extension

While I appreciate these updates immensely - I do wish that there was an option to simply dl what is new. To go through the entire process every few weeks just doesn't seem reasonable.

the uploaders make more money by forcing you do download all 16gb instead of just the 20mb of new materials. they don't make much money for their efforts, so it is understandable i guess.

I am getting errors for one of the new soundbanks "Outer Reaches". Samples missing. I only have one sample for that bank.

Thanks for this update...seems there a some nice adds this time (dream theater tribute for instance...) but i get a lot of double entries after the "just install" order from the great VR team...is there an easy way to solve this?

Here is my tip:

- Just delete the db.db3 file located in C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets on Windows or /Library/Arturia/Presets on MacOS.

- Restart Analog Lab (or Pigments, V Collection). Preset subdirectories will be rescanned, the database will be rebuilt. After a few minutes, you should have all your presets without double entries.

Tell us if it solved your problem.

Can i Replace all existing files with this release? and then delete "db.db3" (with this is not necessary to uninstall old version, only reinstall and replace, It Works??
