Just updated it and from 5 - 6 % CPU use ( when load the plugin ) it went to 11 - 12 % ....... its the first time i see an updated new plugin needs more CPU than the first version ,.... thank you Excite Audio keep raising CPU use ......

For me soon as I open it in ableton it jumps to 12-13% cpu use. The other two releases by TCD Expanse and Console do exactly the same big cpu spikes

excite audio plugins have very different performances, depending whether you are on windows or mac os. i have both and it totally sucks on windows. ie, it takes ages to open the ui on windows. it's so much slicker on mac. as for cpu use, i have the same processor on pc and mac and the hit is superior on the pc. excite audio deliver good sound, but very poor performance apps.

edit: i was referring to their other two plugins. i have never tried this one.
