The only solution I've found (and use) is first installing this release and then installing the "Blue Cat Audio Blue Cats PatchWork v2.66 Incl Keygen (WiN and macOS)-R2R" release on top to replace just PatchWork.

Before I've read your tip I had already uninstalled the VR pack and installed the R2R PatchWork by itself.

I managed to register the vst but I can't find the standalone. Does the R2R release contain the standalone?

Yes the R2R release contains the standalone. In matter of fact the only difference I can find between the two releases is the size of the standalone file. R2R's version is larger and works; VR's version is smaller and doesn't work.

I didn't see the option to install the standalone during the install!

I stopped installing this pack after i noticed that Ableton every time it started was scanning these plugins for some minutes ! Anyone to confirm that is fixed and the scan completes in seconds as it does for the other plugins ? Win 10 pro here ...
