Warm up or cool down whatever you put through it

Inspired by the dashboard of almost every car made in the 90s, AC-1 is a unique audio processor that combines both saturation and filtered downsampling effects to create an incredibly intuitive and powerful tone-shaping tool.

Warm up your tracks with two separate saturation circuits using a custom distortion algorithm that emulates the sound of analog tape and tube gear. Go from a gentle lift to absolute destruction by turning up the heat. Cool down your tracks with the filtered downsampling effect, which creates a lo-fi and retro sound that is reminiscent of classic samplers and drum machines. The additional filters allow for broad stroke control, ensuring you’ll always be able to sculpt the sound for any mix.

Intuitive graphical interface you already know and love
Two separate saturation circuits
Custom distortion algorithm that emulates the sound of analog tape and tube gear
Completely variable filtered downsampling with minimal antialiasing

Supports VST3 / AU / AAX plug-in formats
For Windows 64bit and OSX 10.12+ 64bit

Funny plugin to have in the collection. Not "professional" if you want to make music with control and knowledge

I'll give them an A+ for the hilarious UI approach.
Haven't tested it, so I don't know what kind of readouts appear on the UI if any. Using my ears never bothers me, but I'll run it through Plugin Doctor to analyze the curves and harmonics.

quote by gabmanNobody gives a fuck about your control, knowledge and professionalism I bet any musician who doesn´t give a fuck about nothing is better musician than you

While I don't agree with the
quote by steficcioNot "professional"
bit, as that's a vague term and one that'll get tossed out the window as soon as someone uses it for a "professionally" mixed
track that gets released out into the world, this isn't about musicianship, it's about mixing. But, considering your lite & subtle approach to this comment section, I doubt you care. Either way, dial it back a few notches.

You would be surprised what "professionals" use! Whatever gets the job done is good. Nevertheless, let's all calm down!

Gosh, people are losing their sense of humor... I don't say when it's the case that you buy a plugin like this, but to test it for free? so much "diddle-I-doo-dis; Diddle-I-doo-dat" for nothing!
Thank you very much, dear R2R and funtime!
