open you ValhallaPlate plugin and set the "Size" to 1% and "Decay" to minimum (0.5 sec) and you can hear it's still sounding natural in every single Mode it offers, just small and short sounding reverb. This Flex reverb when you set the Size to below 30, it breaks and starting to make that funky metallic sound. Reverb engine is bad, the filter even worse and close to unusable. It's okay since they made it to be available FREE.

Algorithmic reverb quality is measured by its capability to generate natural sounding reverb at its shortest time, smallest size possible.

Still haven't using it, but i strive to collect everything,
in case that sometimes "bad stuffs" we can use to
achieve unusual results, making defects effective,
and noticed years ago, that most "metallic" sounding
tools really adds sometimes a good "colorization",
even in the AUX chains or whatever you imagine ...

oh, nooo, that's a different way, we are using it too ...
You are talking about something usual and useful,
good quality, ok , yes, and it also has its own place,
but the "things" that add some corrosion are another
style of thinking and creation, even few good plugins
like "PSP SpringBox" and "BEN SCHULZ - JP-ME-1"
can be used alternatively to reach of cool ideas.
(Not sure what exactly i wrote here, but i did it ...)
