Has this been tested, after extracting the .rar and mounting the .dmg, I try to run the installer but i get a flag saying the installer may be damaged.

edit:

Actually I got it to work, I had to inspect the contents of the install icon and then locate the terminal installer in the subfolder

Has anyone tried to install this over the top of a legit adobe creative cloud? i already kneel at the feet of photoshop / illustrator / fonts / stock photos subscription. Am i able to shoehorn this in there? I tried previously and it didnt go over well.

With "didn't work" you mean it busted the old install or the after effects just didnt launch due to conflicting prior ked adobe software?

it wouldnt launch...iirc it popped open the creative cloud "buy AE" page or some sort. I dont remember exact specifics. I dont believe I turned off internet or blocked at the hosts file but I also dont think it told me to do that. Again, a bit foggy on specifics. It didnt affect my legit subscriptions at all. Ever since creative cloud / suite etc, ive not found any semi-painless or straightforward adobe options. Ive no problem installing the omnisphere/waves/izotope/fabfilters of the world and im generally not too terribly tech disabled, but...maybe i need to try harder with the adobe stuff.

It says the installer file may be damaged, and it wont install when i run the .dmg

Thanks to your help i got it to work.

Firewalls needs to be disabled.
Open the installer in the inspector (Rightclick show contents)
Search for the install script. Install
Install the crack
Important now: Open the terminal and paste the terminal code from the install folder (Deep sign bla bla) (Firewall still disabled!!)

When finished you can start AE
WHen AE doesnt start or crash, right click open because of "Gatekeeper" (Whatever this shit is)

No i know, why its hard to crack stuff on Mac. ^^
