Be careful with this. I used similar software recently and had my Spotify account suspended. The have now employed new detection software to recognize when customers are using it. I did get my account restored when I agreed to not use any of this kind of software going forward.

All of these apps with different name do the same falsely advertised shit.
Don't waste your time and don't risk your computer and even your Spotify account (that can be banned if you try with 5x speed).
Losseless? False!
Converting? False!
These app are not more than a virtual cable method that plays the song and records it.

There is a much better method and it even let you have access to songs that are grayed out in your region:

Looks promising.
So there's no chance that spotify can trace this back to the downloader?

why would it matter? I'm premium user and also use that website to save some songs, especially those (grayed out) that Spotify stopped giving access to, for some reason.

However, mind you that when I copied the domain here, went to check the site if it still operates correctly and unfortunately one of the songs I decided to download was in shitty quality, even though it wasn't in low bitrate. (perhaps Spotify stopped offering that song due to faulty file, can be some issue in their datacenter or at the database). Another song I had to download twice because at first it saved a hundred kilobites file.

All in all, I hardly advice about these releases: STOP installing these fake spotify "converter" apps. These apps can steal your data, primarily there is a high chance that you access Spotify (even as free user) via Facebook account and it can go really bad. I've got alerts from Spority (and even Facebook, when I still used it) about suspicious login attemps from strange countries.
Don't use these apps, it's not worth it. I would even suggest to the mods to ban these from Audioz.
Unreliable and risky as hell!

Ahh, I personally wouldn't recommend using Spotify-Downloader, because I have tried it and I got 128kbps MP3s. Not particularly great sounding, as you would imagine

Just plug the outputs of your audio interface into the inputs of your interface...
Then open you're DAW, begin recording, and open Spotify and hit play. :P

I'll take my Nobel, now :P
