hi ^^

some midi file installed from this one in "disco" (midtempo) are taged by a yellow "carrefull" icon and wont play, the 2 other working fine, someone know why i found this problem ??

Just did a quick scan. No such icons appear. Maybe you should re-install it.

you have to click on the Disco Midi grooves otherwise you won't notice it.

confirmed, same problem here with Disco grooves. Interestingly, if I doubleclick on one of the defective Disco grooves they play once but you can't drag and drop the midi file to somewhere.
And the disco grooves are new, before there weren't Disco midi files (just looked at a backup I made yesterday before the install of this one).. So they messed it up somehow.

The Disco midiDB file itself seems to be currupt, as the individual midi files in the library are fine.
@Blowfly : The groove that you hear playing when you double click is actually the last non-errored groove that was played previously and not the selected groove displaying the caution icon.

Ok disregard my previous post, the midiDB file is ok. The problem stems from missing midi and midchordinfo files in most of the song folders: (Queen 100 BPM, The Thing 104 BPM, Survivor 120 BPM, Corrida 125 BPM, Marmalade 115 BPM).
This Disco midi pack is a very recent Toontrack release, so it may be eventually released as either stand alone or as part of an updated midi pack collection for EzBass. I would simply delete the Disco midi folders and restore the database from within EzBass' advanced settings menu.

If installing for the first time, what all do i need to install before this update to catch up? (Do i need to install all updates in order or will just one do?)

You do not need the prior updates to use this one, this one will even update the midi packs for you!

If you are installing EZbass for the first time (v1. 0) you are likely to need v1. 0.9 and v1. 1.4 update for EZbass to properly work. Then apply this update. Sometimes the updates are cumulative. I can confirm of v1. 1.4 as it updates both the modern and vintage libraries. I am not an expert though. Hope that helps

thanks this was the solution. Vintage and Modern did not show up so I had to install: v1. 0.9 then v1. 1.4 and then v1.1.8

thank you very much, I had the same problem like Daskeladden that Vintage and Modern soundbanks did not showed up after updating from v.1.0 directly to v.1.8 but your hint has helped!

I was having the "the sound library ezbass modern needs to be updated" message and literally went through every single update one by one and installed and it worked.

Unsure if every single one needs to be updated or if there are only certain version numbers that you need to update in order for it to work but to be sure, go one by one and it'll work. Annoying though.. but its free!
