not sure if it's just me but after install it is staying on initializing for quite some time, maybe to do with all the banks?

Yes, the same thing here, too, freezes my massive one and then initializes it again. That's also the case with the previous version (Version 1.5.11), unfortunately I don't know if it's because of the crack itself

i had to uninstall completely, restart computer install this current version and it works. What a hassle for this old synth

and as usual, run the exe first.

the first opening show a running wheel, the second is silent, but stiil scan in background task.

Typical atrocious programming by programmers - "I know what it's doing, why doesn't everybody else (who have never seen it before)". If a program is scanning and therefore frozen, obviously it should display notification that says "Scanning, please wait", with an egg timer.

yea it would go to not responding if i clicked on it, when trying to bring up my task manager it didn't even allow me to see if the process was actually frozen or cpu was active on it. Really bad display and I don't remember NI instruments doing that on initialization. Absynth, Massive, FM8, they scan when they load based on their database directory. I don't remember anything rebuilding as it starts. Either way at this point in time people can probably do away with Massive, oh no there's Massive X now (no standalone however) but tell me what Massive can do nowadays that other synths can't? Either way it's working now but even after "initializing" for 15 minutes it didn't respond soo..., not even Serum took that long with its large database.

having a lot of trouble with Massive for the past 3 4 months already I believe until I decided to remove all the user presets and let it run on factory standard presets + Mashine expansion and things starting to stabilize but Massive keep doing whatever scanning it is doing on the background.

I tried adding back all 1 million 3rd party presets and it crashes from time to time if you add too much of it at one time.

So, I started to add 1 preset pack a day and try to play with what's already inside and that new content everyday and it doesn't cause me problem anymore. Also I get to know all those presets more and been deleting all garbage dnb squechy screeching bass that I don't need and organize things based on what I like about it.

It's the only way to make things work for now. This plugin is already too old in need of full rework but can't help it because I still like it for some stuff it does that has a certain character that no other plugin has. Massive X is okay but it doesn't sound as good for what I need.

For some reason, NI massive 1.5 and Battery 4.3 have been going to demo and won't activate. Only started just about a week ago for me. They were working fine up until then. Are they time-bombed now; or is my machine just dirty? Running windows 11 pro for workstations. Any ideas?

yeah, hi!
so ive installed both iso's and the vst still pops out the demo-buy-activate red window...

after pressing activate it seems to work ok...
after a restart still pops out the red window

am i missing somthiing? back in the day we used to copy a certain file into the vsr origin folder and that would do it. now days i feel like a dumb boomer.
