Resolume Avenue VJ Software - Avenue is an instrument for VJs, AV performers and video artists. Avenue puts all your media and effects right at your fingertips, so you can quickly play and improvise your live visuals.

Screen Warping & Video Mapping Arena
In the advanced output window you can now create as many slices from your composition and position and transform them to your liking. This is perfect for projection mapping on many surfaces. Your surfaces do not have to be rectangular anymore either, you can warp your video onto curved screens with the advanced bezier transformations.

Generative Content
Resolume plays all your interactive Quartz Composition and Flash animations including AS2 and AS3 scripting. Thanks for sharing.

After installing, replacing the exe files and blocking the software at the firewall, the software works correctly.

However, after a while I get an army of power shells processes in the background. These processes run even when I am not running Avenue.

If I don't kill these processes in the task manager, after a while they take up a significant part of my RAM.

My technical level does not allow me to investigate further the nature of these processes.

However, they seem to me to be decorrelated from Avenue. Therefore, I have the impression that they are rather malicious.

Can you confirm that these processes appear? They start after 10 or 15 minutes after booting my pc.

I just uninstalled this version and the problem still persists. Therefore, the problem may come from the old release (7.13.2 rev 17774).

I'm sorry for the noise, I have to do a clean installation of win and only then I will be able to see the impact on my system of this version.

I need to get motivated, because I've just come to do a new installation of my system...

However, I strongly advise against installing the previous version (7.13.2 rev 17774).

Hi donYeah,
Let me ask U a ?. If it was not doing it on this version before you installed the other version and then reinstalled this version and its happening... Means what ever the other version did and modified stayed after installation of the other install....I don't have this installed but from what your saying there might be something wrong from the other installation.. And if you do a new windows build and it starts again then your going to have to do it again after. Don't you know how to make a complete backup before you install any thing in your system. If you knew how much shit most of us have installed, doing clean installs would take days even weeks to get it all setup they way you had it before. There is a program called Macrium Reflect, i have been using it for years now i think it's the best to work with very easy to use ... It also has the ability to do incremental backups after you have done the original backup. So lets say after you have done a clean install you can make a backup, then after you have installed all your normal stuff make a new Whole back up so you would have a backup of a fresh clean install that if you ever have to do a clean install you would have one than you would just have to update it and you wont have to start from scratch.. Then after you setup all your normal stuff like browser,and the normal stuff you install for your system, you make an incremental.. which would take 3 0r 4 minutes to do. Then you start installing all the software that you know that has worked just fine on system..Make another incremental. Then after that but before you install any thing new you make another incremental... Incremental only backup changes that are different for original, So say you install some thing and it goes really bad all you have to do is restore the last incremental it only changes what was changed so it would like what it was before you installed the program that cause the mess. so it would take 3 or 4 minutes to restore... The first original back up would take 7 min and then it tests to see if the back up was written correctly that is another 7 min 14 in total for like my system....
