I've been using V.R release since forever ago, R2R kinda have different method for the crack with the software center emulator and stuff. It won't work without installing the R2R emulator (for V.R users), so I decided to not merge both team releases for Arturia and stick with the V.R version as all my past projects have V.R version of Arturia plugins. Also V.R includes Legacy version of the plugins (for synths) so I kinda need that as well for past projects recalls.

Yah this is a rare moment where I prefer the V.R version.. but mainly because I don't want to accidentally lose presets if I do something wrong. Also, I have projects with older versions of some of their plugins too.

same here. vr for arturia, r2r for waves. right now i'm chewing my arm waiting for bb tubes. even if i buy it legit, which will probably happen shortly, i still use the r2r installation. so, need to wait. builds character. but i could really use it on a synth track that i can't get focus on.

yes can confirm, presets are all missing. Not all, BUS FORCE and EQ Sitral have the presets which I assume from previous installation. The rest don't have presets.

I always wonder about this, but usually I will install all the synth, keys, fx bundle followed by analog lab and finally the soundbank. This time though, V.R released them all in reverse order (from what I mentioned), I guess it doesn't really matter anymore because their Installers don't uninstall stuff before installing anymore, they just copy over the previous installation.

I believe I've always uninstalled first.. but I'm going to try just installing over-top with the next release.

However, there's really no order to these things that I'm aware of. With the exception of Analog Lab, maybe, there's really no link between them, so I'm not sure why there would be an order. For example, I don't even install Keys because I don't use it. It was a while before I eventually installed the FX bundle too. I was normally just doing the Synths+presets.

The presets probably should be installed after the plugins are installed though, I'd think.

Don't download/install this release just yet. It has no factory presets. Maybe a fix on the way.

Presets are installed (...ProgramData\Arturia\Presets) but not recognised/imported by VST3 effects plugins ... like database creator not worked? Any ideas how to fix?

normally delete the db.db3 in the folder and it will automatically start rescan for all arturia presets. The thing is, no presets installed for the FX collection in my system. If you have them for all the FX plugins as listed above, can you zip it, upload to zippyshare or something and share it here ?

i already checked, search for preset files, even install it in a sandbox, no preset present except for the BusForce and EQSitral. I'm quite familiar with Arturia installation and I kinda know the file structure. If the presets are there, it is likely from previous installation leftovers, not from this installer. This installer created new folder which erased all the symlinks folders for the old presets.

Same problem here with No presets for FX. I previously had the R2R version installed. All my other Arturia stuff are V.R. versions and are working fine (2023.1)

these last installers killed my computer when installing to OS drive, C. It would run then freeze everything for a couple seconds. It took 3 hours to complete the FX. I even disabled antivirus to see if it was actively scanning all the pngs and files. It didn't help. I had to install on another drive that I had, D:, for it to work, not sure what's up.
