I actually use this all the time it has great panning features and works really well trying to automate the pass by effect and it does it very well better than DAW automation, i use this plugin rather than the crappy DAW panning,

Auburn Sounds plug-ins are definitely NOT snake oil. The free versions of their plug-ins are some of my absolute favorite free ones out there, and many (probably in the thousands) would agree with me.

If we would go by your logic - that all devs who make exaggerated claims to promote their plug-ins are snake oil - then literally 99.9% of all plug-ins that exist would be snake oil.

I don't think the quote you mentioned is false either. If they've sold over a 1000 copys of Panagement (which they most likely have, considering that it's an excellent and very popular plug-in), then that statement would be considered true.
