You can use XO as stand-alone or with your favorite DAW along with other plugins. You load XO as an instrument into your DAW. XO is used preferably but not exclusively for beat making and rhythm production using, what you consider to be drum sounds.

Browsing and editing sound become a part of your creative processes instead of disrupting your workflow.

this update messes up my factory library. update works but samples are missing

edit: backup your soundata folder and then replace after update. all working

Yeah I've experienced that every time I upgrade XO. So this time I have all my additional Drumpacks in my Documents folder under XO Drums. So all I have to do is rescan it, unless making a copy of the settings file worx. I'll try something like that first.

I just renamed the Sound Data folder to "Sound Data 2" then installed the update, then renamed it to "Sound Data" and it showed up normally... folder location on macOS:

/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XO/Sound Data
y'all got anymore of those plugins??

everything seems to work but for some reason I can't get some sounds to play.
All my external sounds play but half of the buttons in the "galaxy" dont work when i click them cause the local sounds cant be located i think :( any help here?
