SVT® Suite features three of the most renowned SVT amp heads: The HeritageTM 50th Anniversary SVT, the Heritage SVT-CL, and the SVT-4PRO. The amps can be paired with any of eight Ampeg speaker cabinets and third-party IRs may also be loaded. Plus, Dual-Cab and Dual-IR modes allow two cabs or IRs to be used simultaneously. The cabinets may be miked with any of six virtual microphones and you can adjust the position between the mics and the cabs, as well as blend in one of three stationary room mics. Truth be told, I confused it with "ampeg_svtvr_win_1_4_1.zip" from Plugin Alliance. Still however, this too above is no easy thing for any group. I -think- V.R stripped ilok to make it happen, but don't quote me on that as it could actually be incorrect. Maybe even UPX + ilok. I haven't checked. But yeah, I mentioned a cool plugin for all to have a look at. I don't know the similarities or differences, or whatnot though. I see the PA one is associated with Brainworx.

i have the brainworx svt-vr plugin. i like it, but it's nothing to write home about. the cabs i believe are what holds back its potential, as they are already recorded through consoles, tapes, there's not much room for my own processing, before they start to sound plumpy and spongy. i prefer the svt-vr in ampire. i can't wait to try this to see how it sounds.

You and everybody else might want to give Studio Devil products a try. Virtual Bass Amp, Amp Modeler Pro, Virtual Guitar Amp II - these are beyond killer. I know the makers and all that, but there is no skin in the game for me and I'm purist always, in this regard. If it was junk, you wouln't hear about it from me. Believe it.

Weird - I have VBA 1.3 but site here is 1.2. It's Air kg.

Their products, including the hardware Amplifire line, are used by killer guitarists, one specifically extra known for his tones - he pays great attention to that aspect.

thanks for these, cubeadooby, i'll give them a try. i'm always on the lookout for good tone.

as for the ampeg suite, i've tried it, and am surprisingly disappointed in it. it sounds really honky and bloated, with no consistence of texture, and some tinny, small high-mids. anybody got the same problem? i wonder if i'm not doing something wrong, at this point, although i don't know what that could be.

Don't get many bass guitar-centric plug-ins,.
Even my Headrush MX-5 bass patches stick you with the Bassman amp.
Sure, the patches sound good, but I want more!
My Cort A-5 Ultra Ash with Fishman Fluence soapbar pickups will really show what this plug-in can do.
I miss the old days when you could just plug in and play.

Previous version (which included Helix too.) messed with license for R2R Metalugry. Had to keep swapping them out to either have only R2R Metalugry work, or VR 's Helix and Ampeg. release. Now with most recent Helix (3.50) and Metalugry installs as R2R I hope that this issue is fixed :)

Gonna try it, and report back with what I find.

Edit, Seems to work for both VST3 and standalones of all tthe above mentione software, but VERY slow load times at 1-3 minutes on average for both vst and standalones, and my system isn't slow being a quad core 3.2 ghz intel i7 3900 series with 32 gig ram running modded windows 10 pro. Seems to be a conflict between the two teams releases that causes this as when I just had either the R2R or VR stuff installed load times were way faster, I'll try this out a bit with the internally provided cab sims and some IR's I have and see how it goes.

Some time ago I mentioned this inconvenience in an "audiosex" thread. Although I didn't receive much info, what I did was install the different plugins referred to "line6" but with the same team! (V.R.). They didn't stay in their most up-to-date versions, but it's the only way to make them all work. I honestly doubt they'll fix this being something that involves two or more teams (r2r, etc.).

Interesting, I am not the only one who has experienced this then. I was swapping out licenses to make them both work as I needed them. Nice I no longer need to do that, but the wait times for loading are a bit of a PITA. The price you pay for "try before you buy" LOL.

I have new news, I just uninstalled Helix-&-Ampeg and Metallurgy (even cleaning %APPDATA%\Line 6\) to test this new version since it comes without helix, and then install Line6 vsts from R2R (which is more up to date). They all work (using .vst3).
At first I installed this Ampeg correctly, then Helix from r2r with Line6_KeyGen, and when I installed Metallurgy-r2r it messed up Ampeg, but I re-installed it above without deleting anything and it fixed it.

*EDIT* R2R released this version of Ampeg today.

I have this that I renamed myself and have installed it previously. It also includes the plugins (old now, so they are of no use) but perhaps the important part is/was "PurchasesVR.dat" file as part of it. The reason I say is because everything has just been working, no issues, no anything special done here for all recent updates. It has been just go. Maybe this is why.

"Yamaha.Guitar.Group.Line6.-.Ampeg.Bundle2021.5-V.R (Extra patch needed for after Metallurgy install to coexist).rar" It's 4.15 MB (old plugins included)

If I remember well enough, I think V.R (or the patch-to-coexist maker) changed the plugins to look for that file instead. Maybe he or they did that again, this time. My archived file of that name is the same as the installed one now, with different dates though.
