It can be installed on 7. I just copied the VST3 over and loaded it, to test. No problems.

This installs the NI factory sounds/presets and the like at Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Native Instruments\Massive

Make sure you don't have the same folder populated with stuff at Program Files (64 bit.)

If you do, you can merge the folders. This has the key that controls it all:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Massive

ContentDir = C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Native Instruments\Massive

I suggest to keep it at (x86) and merge all to there. Otherwise, you will have to change a million component keys. That can easily be done with find and replace though, if really wanted.

VST3 is installed to root of the plugin folder, so cut and paste it over the old one in Native Instruments folder. VST2 installs over old one, so nothing to do there. AAX goes to NI too, so nothing to do there, either.
