so does this mean it wont work even under rosetta? every time i install it it loads as a knob with "dummy" on it in FL Studio. could this be why?

this is not true: If you use the RET crack from v14... it will work. Now what might act up is Spherix... it atleast that has for me but other than that, V14 does work with the V14 RET release

Do ANY of the Waves releases work specifically for VST on M1 / Monterey? I've tried half a dozen of them, and they all work to varying degrees for AU, but not one has worked for VST's (Bitwig, Cubase, etc)

Most have AU reg tool or similar, but it doesn't seem to do anything for the VST side of things.

You are correct, only AU and partially VST3 work natively in M1 using the RET fix. To get VST to work, you will need to run it in Rosetta mode. Also, this update works except for Spherix using the RET fix. On an intel machine however, everything works fine excluding Spherix.

I currently have NOTHING from Waves working for VST in Bitwig on last few releases I tried. Not native. Not Rosetta. Not on a boat. Not with a goat.

Maybe I've missed something. I'm more used to Logic. I was told that to use VST is programs like Bitwig I don't need to do the get info / open with Rosetta thing like Logic. Is that incorrect?

I see in searches now people referring to Rosetta 2. I have whatever came with Monterey when I bought the M1. Am I missing some revision or something?

Waves plugins work on m1 since the release of the m1 chip. but the crack does not work on apple silicon side of these plug-ins.

Guys,

If you use the latest crack released by RET (https://audioz.download/software/mac/218286-download_waves-complete-v20220912-macos-incl-patched-and-keygen-ret.html) everything will work at perfection for both INTEL and ARM.

The only limitations are:

1) INTEL minimum operating system supported 10.15, for ARM no limitations.

2) The latest plug-ins released and that is SPHERIX, doesn't work since it needs an update of the R2R keygen (they have to add to the list the new plug-ins).

That's all !

NOTE: You can use the installer contained in this Waves release and crack it using the RET release crack.

Man.. I have the same issue since 2 month. I can't install the plug-in in waves central.
When i install all the plug in there an error : "installation failed – Please restart or contact support if repeats" ... I try many things but nothing works...

Try this:

1) Open Waves Central (if not you have installed it)

2) Open Settings

3) Press 'Clear' under 'Clear Central cache'

4 Waves Central should close and then restart.

Done!

Restart your Mac and you should be able to install the waves.

If this is not yet possible, the only thing you can do is install using the 'Install Online' function but to do this you need to create a free account on Waves.com.

NOTE: When you open the Waves Central application, your license created with the R2R Keygen will be automatically canceled, so you have to repeat the process to create a new one and replace the one you have already done and placed in the Waves folder in Application Support.
