Kirchhoff-EQ
ULTIMATE EQ PLUGIN WITH SUPERB DYNAMIC PROCESSING AND VINTAGE MODELS
Kirchhoff-EQ is an ultimate 32-band parametric EQ plugin built for all critical professional applications. It has refined sound quality, analogue-matched curves, 15 filter types with continuously variable shape and 32 vintage EQ types modeled from real-world devices. The builtin dynamic processing functions are highly flexible and have ultra-low distorion. All these push Kirchhoff-EQ to a next-generation standard.

Equalizers will never be the same again.

Ultimate Sound Quality
Robust Nyquist-matched Transform
Through originally developed "Robust Nyquist-matched Transform", Kirchhoff-EQ has made digital-domain frequency response more approximate to its analogue counterparts without high frequency cramping as in regular IIR (infinite impulse response) equalizers. This technique is applied on all filter types in Kirchhoff-EQ.

High-Precision Processing
64-bits is mandatory and it's not negotiable. The internal processing of Kirchhoff-EQ is always in 64-bits (or 117-bits), regardless of host DAW's current working precision.

Psychoacoustic Adaptive Filter Topologies
All linear filter structures should have the same sound on paper. However in real-world application, round-off errors make every filter structure sound differently: some better in low frequencies, some better in high frequencies.

A technology called "Psychoacoustic Adaptive Filter Topologies" has been deployed in Kirchhoff-EQ. Filter structures change themselves to a "best fitting" state along with corresponding band frequency changes, resulting in optimized sound quality in both low and high frequencies.

Switchable Ultra-High 117-bits Processing
Since there's already 64-bits, why not go further? Kirchhoff-EQ uses a technique called "Double-Double" to make precision of internal processing reach 117 bits! This is the first equalizer in the world to reach such precision. You can switch between 64-bits and 117-bits at any time. It satisfies the most demanding ears.

interesting, isn't this regarded as one of the best EQs ever created?

In what sense?

yeah that is a bold claim to me honestly. kirchoff is clean as fuck. maybe in overall popularity? but popularity doesn't equal the best quality, more business success. I mean- I clicked on this to tell you Mac users congrats and enjoy, I'm on windows.

the only I don't think this one does better than pro Q3 is I haven't figured out (haven't looked it up either) if there is a analyst like with proq3, where you can see what's going on in a different instance. that's a really cool feature, and pretty much the only thing I use pro for now.

they're both basically very similar so I don't get how you say proq3 is still top besides in over all popularity or as a analyzer. otherwise on paper kirchoff pretty easily wins. since finding this site Ive been able to get my hands on so much stuff, and ironically this has led to me figuring out what I like/don't like and I've made more legit purchases the last year than I ever have in decades. someday I'll be all legit... someday and kirchoff is on that list.

Will be trying this out. It will be coming to Plugin Alliance soon, too.
y'all got anymore of those plugins??

Working perfectly on Monterey 12/Logic 10.7.4 (Silicon M1/M1 Pro) - thank you Flare, great share!

I will definitely try this out, especially since there are both Windows and macOS versions of it out now! If it sounds switch-worthy it might permanently replace Pro-Q3 in future applications.
We'll see. Thanks, Flare and TeamFuCK!

No problem on Mojave. Did you use OSX Validate All AU's tool and code sign it?

It's a good EQ for sure. How about linear phase option? I was playing with this thing for 10 or so minutes but could not find it anywhere. Maybe you guys are more lucky... ))

UPD.
Found it on the top of the screen.

Wow! I don't think so, but it seems that it has more broadband clarity than pro-q with 2 oversampling and 117 bit activated , the dynamic section is much superior than that fabfilter one. It sounds very very musical.

It's so much better than pro-q, or any EQ ever.

The phase mode of Kirchhoff-EQ is switchable between zero-latency mode, analogue mode, linear phase mode and mixed phase mode, in order to meet all your phase relationship needs.

Thanks to FLARE for bringing this to Mac. It's a nice-sounding EQ, but not necessarily better than Pro-Q 3 in Studio One running at 64-bit precision. The filter shapes are nice, so it might get used for little things here and there, but it really chews up the DSP compared to Pro-Q for a minimal sonic payout, at least so far.
For me, this is the kind of EQ to use on special occasions, Pro-Q still feels more fluid and intuitive for go-to use.

Us Fabfilter fans "will always have the Saturn2". This thing, is phenomenal.

Okay, put just a HP Blue filter and went to 117, and it did do some magic, after the FF. Will definitely look to put this in the chain more often. Tried a bell boost at 800 hz, though, and preferred to the sound of the pro-q for that. It'll keep things interesting.
