I personally never liked the attack of LA to be honest, like if it lacks control. And its distortion model was the first to implement the new stateful algo, but I found it always to kill colour, rather than enrich it... this VBL on the other hand, always sounded wonderful!
do you have some nice suggestions for the LA?

Effortlessly one of the best software sound processor ever produced, almost 10 years old. I stumbled across way too late, just because I used to look down free marketed plugins.

Superb compressor, excellent tone box, gorgeous distortion unit. I almost exclusively use it on voice, when I want a tube-ish color for example.
I hope this update pays respect to its legacy.

It sounds metallic, like all wrong reverbs.
Like FL Reverb 1 and more.
