Doesn't work (for me)... it says, it needs a specific graphics card??

not an specific one, but at least something "usable".
If I'm not wrong it works from GTX 1050 and newer...

It's not working on my GTX 1050ti. Maybe my GPU is just broken.

for info it's best to check the discord server as things are getting updated & tweaked regularly (beta remember)

Nowhere in the site, it is indicated the minimum / recommended hardware requirements...

This is a real shame, so please GTH developper!
I'm alive!!! :D Isn't it astounding??? ;)

Just checked that. How on earth...

Besides I'm almost sure, and it makes sense, these plugins only work in fast/relatively modern GPUs
[2009] Sorry for my English. I'm working on it
[2017] I'm beginning to improve. Hell yeah, I'm a fast learner :D

this is the future of plugins guys!
I don't see much of excitement as it should be !

this is the beginning of many instruments sounding like the real hardware because of the power available to model it.
It is like having UAD DSP's but "for free" and even much more powerful.

I'M EAGER TO SEE WHAT'S COMING WITH THE GPU AUDIO WORLD.

You are not wrong but that is in the future. I don't understand why for example it can run on older GPUs like my GTX1050ti. There is a lot of work to be done so they optimize code to run on every GPU.

I think they just develop by GPU framework, like CUDA (NVIDIA). Not individually for every single GPU. So it runs on the whole family that supports CUDA. AMD supports a different GPU framework, so that's a second development.
Maybe check if your CUDA framework / Drivers are installed.
That's done in the graphics world for years now.

I agree, it's a very good step for us! let's hope for dsp53600 to be able to work with this!

From their Discord:

"Supported GPU Architecures:
- NVIDIA (10xx series and higher recommended)
- AMD (limited to PRO driver and certain models)"

Note, that their Discord-Server is where they share useful information with frequent updates.

I switched to digital in the early 90s with ADAT and have often wondered why digital audio has latency and computational barriers that graphics break through on a regular basis.

Over the past 10 years, as we've watched GPUs begin to outshine CPUs in terms of specific computational power, yet audio has been left behind. I believe this will be a major advance for audio... and we've needed it.
