Excite Audio KSHMR Chain v1.0.0 Regged [WIN macOS]-FLARE screenshot
Team FLARE | 29 September 2022 | WIN: 9.57 MB | macOS: 49.5 MB
RELEASE NUMBER: FLARE-1888/FLARE-1889

Revolutionise Your Plugin Chain
KSHMR Chain is an innovative utility that instantly copies your plugin chain from one track to countless others. Say goodbye to Copy & Paste.

No more copy and pasting instances of the same plugin, and switching between them to adjust their individual parameters.

With KSHMR Chain you can fine-tune the settings of multiple tracks with a single twist, and then hear the accumulative effect of those changes in real-time – great for working with vocal stacks or groups of instruments.

The plugin has been developed in collaboration with KSHMR, whose philosophy is that “an efficient workflow helps you to stay creative”. With this in mind, the plugin also doubles up as an intuitive organizational tool, scanning and stocking all your plugins in easy-to-reach categories that make sense for producers.

Unfortunately this doesn't identify any of my plugins even after selecting plugin folders. Tried restarting and clean installing again. When installing there's an option for standalone app but it's not installed either.

When I execute plugin scanner inside "Program Files/Excite Audio/" It says failed. (error code1)

Same (Win11_x64) - but found a 'fix'. If this works for you (and its not in the vendor installer) we may need a revision.

Using Procmon you can see it's expecting PluginProbe64.exe to be in 'C:\ProgramData\Excite Audio\Chain\' but it is installed to 'C:\Program Files\Excite Audio\KSHMR Chain' instead.

So Copy 'PluginProbe64.exe' from: 'C:\Program Files\Excite Audio\KSHMR Chain' to: 'C:\ProgramData\Excite Audio\Chain\' and then rescan.

It also puts more scanner-exe's in %Appdata% too.
Back in the ProgramData folder you will see a log of scanned plugins - note it tags many as 'Unsuitable' so doesnt even load them at all!

AND note that 'PluginProbe64.exe' process also tries phoning home like a little bitch* - but you all block everything eh so no prob there ;-) .
Crashes multiple times on scanning my lot.

*many times, to multiple numbers :-)

A plugin in which to load your plugins. Lots of DAW's, highlight tracks, insert plugin of choice, plugin gets inserted on all highlighted tracks (example console VST). But who uses the exact same plugin chain on all tracks?
Strange, unnecessary, plugin idea. Has a demo and costs buttons to purchase.

It's a trend these days for "The Best Vocal Chain" "Most Epic Mastering Chain" etc. and stuff like that on Youtube. I don't even know what tha even means and never really take anyone seriously if they asked that kind of question. My plugins are Django anyway
It makes no sense to say you’re not good at it. It’s like saying, “I’m not good at being a monk.” You are either living as a monk or you’re not.

Why using this when you can use StudioRack???

Okay hear me out ya'll :

what sold it to me is when exporting stems from a bus, I found myself tediously copying and pasting the chain of the bus to each track and making sure I didn't forget any. This is a real time saver. I bought it after thinking about what it could do for tuning, for Kickstart sidechaining or just build up/filtering automation.

If Studio Rack did that, it could a killer but you can load it into this thing.

Edit: guys you won't understand how savvy this is until you load it in a session and try it yourselves. This is a game changer in my workflow

I'm not big on waves at all. but for applying the same chain to a ton of stem channels, why don't you just make the first one then clone the track a bunch of times to put the stems inside of? that takes like 1 second. every plugin and setting inside them will be duplicated and loaded in the same order. like this thing does. this includes loading plugins disabled, so they retain the same order on the strip. If you work with stems this way, I'm not sure why this would be a better option than making a template in your daw.

That's what i was already doing and this automates that tedious process, keeps me from forgetting a specific track and takes into account changes made after i copied a chain.

I don't know which Daw you use, but in Studio one you can store complete chains and then drag them. But I don't think only Studio One has the option to store chains.
If you only look at one side of the coin, you'll never truly know if it's a coin.

yes sir, in studio one you can save the whole chain even with macros assigned. i have tons of sound design chains that I've created, it's like soundtoys rack. so powerful and easy. drag n' drop!

You definitely missed my point. Ableton lets you save and recall chains/racks. What this one does is letting you control multiple chains in multiple track at the same time
  Resident 27.07.2017 340

ah I think I got it. In real time you can modify all the same chains you have in other tracks. For example "10 Chains" for 10 voices with the same settings. But what I'm left wondering and what has already been said is, who would use the same chains for other tracks? but well, I'm sure there will be people who will do it.

- When you have to export individual tracks from a bus
- when you have a hi/low-cut filter in several tracks for your transitions that you wanna automate the same and export them individually

I used to copy and paste those when i'm done and if you ever have to modify an automation curve, you need to go back and paste it again.

And tbh the way they reorganised plugins by category is a killer feature

Why did you copy the chain of the bus to all of the individual stems? Couldn't you have just exported the stems through the bus/parent? Also, copying the bus FX to all of the individual tracks will not give you the same result as having those FX on the bus.

Because Ableton doesn't give you that option and it sucks

I know but i only use it when i bussed tracks for convenience and not to "glue" them together like drums.

Thats a neat idea.

I'm not skilled enough to accomplish a chain that good,
but what if I was.

I can't figure out what is so great about this add-on. Is it a chain? I mean, it does this perfectly with S1 and I think other daw's also allow you to do it. And for something more complex PatchWork. Or am I missing something?

Ableton has rack presets.
  Resident 16.08.2010 26 860

This is not about presets but realtime control of multiple chains in multiple tracks at the same time by just controlling one plugin. Imo no other plugin does this except some max for live devices and they're not this optimised

In Ableton, put them in a rack with macro controls.
Assign those macro controls to your plugins.
Tweak those macro controls.

You can save the rack with macros assigned :D
Like any serious DAW can do.

Hi! Everything works perfectly! During installation, this plugin scanned and found all other plugins. Studio Rack doesn't see half of its plugins, let alone third-party ones!
