TheExpressor is a colored upwards/downwards (Ex)pander/Com(pressor).

KEY FEATURES:
1. Color - change slightly to soften the knee or boost/cut up to 24 dB for extreme emphasis.
2. Extremely Low Aliasing - better quality than 6x oversampled plugins without the oversampling overhead or any delay. *

PARAMETERS:

Attack (Main):
- Description: Attack time.
- Range 0.1 ms to 50 ms.
- Default: 0.1 ms.

Release (Main):
- Description: Release time.
- Range 30 ms to 3.00 s.
- Default: 30 ms.

Threshold (Main):
- Description: Vertical location of the transfer function's knee.
- Range -50 dB to 0 dB.
- Default: -50 dB.

Post-Threshold (Ratios):
- Description: Post-threshold ratio.
- Range: 0.5 to 20.0.
- Default: 20.

Pre-Threshold (Ratios):
- Description: Pre-threshold ratio.
- Range: 0.5 to 1.5.
- Default: 1.

Makeup (Utility):
- Description: Apply a volume to the wet signal.
- Range: -6.0 dB to 50 dB.
- Default: 0 dB.

Mix (Utility):
- Description: Mix the dry and wet signals.
- Range: 0 % dB to 100 %.
- Default: Wet (100 %).

Sidechain (Detector)*:
- Description: If set to On, the internal detector uses the sidechain signal.
- Options: Off, On.
- Default: Off.

High Pass (Detector):
- Description: High-pass the detector's signal before calculating gain reduction.
- Range: 1 Hz to 500 Hz.
- Default: 1 Hz.

Stereo Link (Detector):
- Description: Stereo-link the detector's signal directly after the high-pass.
- Range: 0 % to 100 %.
- Default: 0 %.

Softness (Knee):
- Description: Set the width of the knee smoothing.
- Range: 0 dB to 24 dB.
- Default: 0 %.

Color (Knee):
- Description: Add or subtract a bell-shaped curve to the knee.
- Range: -24 dB to 24 dB.
- Default: 0 dB.
