I really hope R2R does a "working on win 7" release of this but i doubt it

It needs mfplat.dll, api-ms-win-crt-private-l1-1-0.dll, windows.storage.dll, winmm.dll and mfreadwrite.dll all from a Win10 or 11 box but then it acts just like "official" Cubase or Studio One, etc... It needs functions from ntdll.dll and you cannot inject that across operating system versions. It is a managed .dll like user32.dll. Placing a "good" copy in the program folder will still not "inject" or "import" it into the (any) program. Some developer once told me it was possible with his product when I was looking into fixing Studio One, but then the things he told me I didn't understand at the time. So, if they did Cubase for 7, this is nothing.

In talking completely separate from all the above, a different way completely - I am almost sure 95% that you can actually write your own .dll to accept the demand for a missing function. Not too sure how that all works. To have a laugh, likely yet, even if yet means a long time into the future. heh

EDIT:
I donwloaded this portable version from "fcportables", and there was a serious threat in it.
So if you go for it, be very careful.

Oh man, it's finally here.

I tested it and they made it sound better (but not perfect at all).
If I could I'd buy it for sure.
(Bass and drums sound better by a mile).

Can't wait it to get released for the other OS X) (because I only use Win for gaming now).
