Total Commander is a convenient, extended file manager. It is an alternative to the standard Windows Explorer. The application offers a view of two windows, between which the operation on the folders and files on your system are taken. I have my custom Win11's explorer hacked and tweaked in all sorts of ways, including "old" Clover after cleaning that up too. It makes for a sluggish browser, so I will give this a try for some time. I see BobDule makes use of it, so there must be something to it. Thanks!

not really a friend of windows eplorer, i just love my dual pane, its way more productive than what windows explorer will ever offer to me, plus there are some many useful tools, which come with Samlabs TC PowerPack, like hit F3, opens a lister, F4 opens notepad and the multirenaming with regex, you can create and check checksums (MD5, CRC, SHA, etc) - TC has it all.

Can only recommend TC.
An alternative is also xyplorer, it has more than 2 panes and you can setup the panes how you like it. It also plays audio files when going over the audiofile.

Directory Opus is amazing but expensive and must be almost impossible to crack, because groups have tried for years with only limited success.

Directory Opus is RIDICULOUSLY expensive - who is going to pay $89 for the 'full' version? If it was $9.99 they would sell hundreds of times as many copies.

you can extract or recompile nicnt files with it and inNKX plugin.

also make or extract .nkx containers for samples, it goes faster to copy/move/delete kontakt samples libraries using containers.

i allready updated my tool with it few time ago.

Thanks for the supplier of this. But - Total Commander makes you double click to open a folder in tree view (probably in other views too, I didn't notice because the first thing I did was change it to tree view) - there is an option in the Configuration window to 'single click opens folders and files', which I checked, but it doesn't work - and if it HAD worked, it would still be bloody useless, because who wants to single click to open a FILE? How do I select multiple files then? I have been using Free Commander for decades and I recommend it over Total Commander.

Total Commander has been a life safer for me for decades now.
It just does everything. rar, sync directories, multirename, you name it it got it.
It's worth hundred other tools, if you find it useful and can afford it, please buy a license, the guy developing it up to now (and giving it away for free on android, where it is awesome too) really deserves you support.

I wish something comparable would exist on MacOS.
I've tried a lot and somewhat accepted what Commander One Pro does, but in 2022 it's still a buggy toy compared to the real thing.
I wonder how Christian Ghisler could accept it as a TC replacement on MacOS. It's far from that.

Apart from the file operations related to KONTAKT files, this also comes in handy for many other tasks. The Search function is very powerful and is worth looking into. Also worth taking a look at is Bulk Rename Utility.

The tools are a must. Everyone should have it.
By the way, the key goes for all future versions, so it is not limited to version 10.5!

Hmm i tried another TT 10 "version" that had a shared key i installed it about 1 year ago maybe even before that?
And after some months of use i got a popup sign saying plz don't use pirated software bla bla (or something similar) sometimes when i open up TT
So i had to block every exe file in the install dir from access internet blocking only TOTALCMD.exe didnt help.
Anyway lest hope this key works

I think the great thing about "TC" is its operability and nimble movement.
However, the biggest attraction is that you can edit special files such as "nicnt" by adding a plug-in.
It cannot be replaced by other software.
